There's been a lot of Shrek themed raves going through the country and anytime they come through Texas, the nights sell out. I'm talking 1k+ capacity. There would be a crowd for Smash Mouth for sure.

Not discrediting this, but weren’t Death Cab for Cutie booked the same dates of ACL before they moved them to another date after they appeared on the line up?
yeah but Koe is doing arenas, not clubs and theaters. plus, and i'm ashamed to admit i know this, Koe doesn't tour past mid-october because that's when his hunting season starts.

Just front load the set with the very small number of songs people want to hear and then end super early due to drunkenness. Kind of a win win for everyone.

Q.oftheS.A. making a teaser FB post. I would be shocked if they are one of the top 6, but if Foos are there, I can see Homme rescinding his 'we only headline @ fests' for ACL and Grohl... I guess they could be teasing Riot Fest also...

the wine mom sucked but it was fun to be a part of!
that year w Billie and Lizzo though was out of control crowd wise. iggy azalea 14 was also really intense.
Paramore was pretty nuts last year.
last year i remember getting back to my buddies before paramore and we were probably 5-10 rows in front of the soundboard and it didn’t feel too packed. the first time they showed a crowd shot we all looked at each other with our jaws dropped.

This is pretty solid... I could care less about mumford/odesza/lumineers but the rest is a ton of fun. Death Grips is one of the more random bookings for this fest though lol
