Maybe I chose the word "another" poorly.
I'm down on the USA because I've watched them play and think they're well off the pace of a solid team: tactically, technically, and emotionally. I don't think you can win games without a consistent goal threat, which we obviously lack against any proven competition. I don't believe in Jesus Ferreira and Josh Sargent.
Should be interesting to see Musah and Aaronson against some top international competition. Reyna is still struggling for minutes at Dortmund, so not sure how much he can be counted on to start and play deep into matches, but he could add something off the bench. Pressure is on them before, because they should go through in this group.
There's not enough talk of Belgium in this thread smh. Shame.
Always underperform, Lukaku has a bad hamstring and Eden Hazard hasn't been Eden Hazard for 3 seasons now.
My bold predictions: Denmark will be this year's Croatia and make the semis and maybe runner up.
USA out in group stage. Will lose to Wales and England, and 3rd match will be meaningless vs Iran.
If Iran doesn't get banned I see them as a shock 2nd place team in that group. Surely FIFA will help one muslim nation progress to R16, and Qatar and Saudi Arabia are both in too tough of groups.
Vinicius Jr top scorer after Brazil scores a ton in group stage. Not sure if Brazil will get to final but he'll score enough early on to win golden boot.
France injuries see them get 2nd in group and lose in R16 2018 rematch with Messi.

Wingers have been shown to be very replaceable in the squad. We kinda need Lukaku tho. Batshuayi never really broke out of his shadow. De Bruyne is ace and had a stellar season. As wingers we still have his younger brother Hazard, Carrasco, Trossard is doing amazing..
Brasil vs Argentina would be the most insane ratings. Although its bullshit the game is at 7am pst. But seemingly Fox doesnt want to hinder any NFL shit even though this gets more eyeballs.
couple surprises but I'm pretty happy with it all in all. I'm not sure how but I feel like we gotta figure out a way to get Adams, Musah, Mckennie, Aaronson, Puli and Reyna on the field together.

There are things I don't necessarily agree with but I think everyone who "needs" to be there is.
Could go the route Spain did in Euro 2012 without putting a traditional striker on, but this team isn't nearly that talented.

Greggg is our biggest weakness anyways. Plenty of raw talent, it'll be up to the players to win despite the sure to be wrong gameplans. Pretty wild that Tim Weah will play in a world cup when his dad didn't get to
