seems like MD could've had tranter's name for sure (or that maf thought he did, anyway) but since hes already gone, MD raised eyebrows at both Dan and Cincy in the latter half of D2.

because it's just one vote on samp, not two. so jaz came in and instead of pushing someone else to the runoff, put a vote on someone who didnt have any yet.
I don't think what jaz has done has been all that weird.
the d1r2 move is definitely a normal thing people do, and r4 it's basically taking at a stab at the same idea.
whole lot of buzz stirred up around that post that was wrong. worst thing that happened was the d1 split looks wonky, but w teddy and lll both dead already its workable
first few posts was MD basically laser focused on tranter. defended jaz/mentioned that a couple people were overexaggerating his "susness" (i agree). then his "what a strange post" comment was to Cincy. final thing of substance he said was that he wanted to see Dan make the call.

She’s been weird, which comes across to me as nervous excitement to be mafia, and the only argument for tranter was a handful of trolling post that have never once been an indicator of his role

I think it's weird. Dan cast a vote for MD and then one minute later made a post indicating LLL as mafia. He then proceeded to make several posts reiterating his vote for MD but never really making a case for why... like he was just trying to prove something. Then he finally switches and casts a vote for LLL when MD drops off. I know I know... Dan just voted for me. I know what you might say... but look back at the pattern - it is sus behavior.
Given what I've seen with Dan, I also think Jaz's behavior is strange. Teddy pointed this out. He also voted for MD without much explanation (I know - he did provide some reasoning later on). But he's tended to wait around for a while to cast his votes (still waiting for his vote on this round I think), and he ultimately did follow Dan's votes and eventually voted for LLL.
I am an actual noob here btw - not some retread of some other person. Rummy plugged me into this thing.
I was sort of thinking at first that maybe I wouldn't cast a vote for Dan because he already made the move to vote for me. But eh, screw it. I'll live and die by my convictions.

This post still sticks out to me. Aside from the noted overexplaining, he's agreeing with cum that MD's post is weird, and mentions my behavior is strange as well. Idk Dan's role but with me and MD both being town, this doesn't look as great for Samp. Or cum, for that matter (who also defended tranter, who MD's post def seem to paint as Mafia). Also Samp didn't you say when we were in DC that you've played Mafia before, perhaps in a different format?
With two rounds down, we have to assume Maf was taking a shot at Inspector and not just trying to fool the town. If tranter was Mafia then it's a pretty safe whack to get the person going after him the most; especially since tranter's dead, that doesn't necessarily lead the town anywhere.
