i think we might've gotten a mafia with tranter and am glad town pushed that through at the final hour. in effect, i also think MD could've been whacked for his tranter comments alone - but it also could be that he was whacked because of those PLUS another, e.g. towards Dan or Cincy. and if mafia was thinking "MD seems to have tranter, but he also mentioned one of us towards the end."

yeah i havent been that sus on jortles throughout the game tbh but his comments so far at the start of this Day are odd to me.
we are in Day 3. there are seven people left, and it is possible that all three mafia remain (i think more likely one is gone, mostly thinking tranter here, but it is a possibility that all are alive). so his comment of like "but wouldn't mafia whack ___ or ____ instead of ____?" in a numbers sense just doesn't make much sense. if he is town, he wouldn't know your role, so why is he acting like we should just assume both you AND himself were viable whack options (aka that neither of you are maf)?
especially given how he went for you Day 2. it just doesn't quite add up.

In a scenario in which Tranter was Maf and MD had his name, his statements about Tranter are solid enough alone to warrant a whack, any other names are just as likely to be speculation and there's no reason to think they warrant any more attention than anyone else. Your point would stand if someone else was equally going as hard after Tranter, but otherwise there's no reason to think other names MD mentioned have any bearing on him being whacked.

I think there's at least one Mafia in the group of Jortles, Dan, Cum, Samp, Cinci, and you.
Fr though my suspicion list, in order, is Samp, Jortles, Dan, Cinci, you, and Cum. Based solely on gameplay/vibe, which I'm finding tends to be more accurate for me than analyzing votes. Of course Samp is new so that's a total wildcard.

Guessing inspector based on him would have been a total shot in the dark. On the other hand, nobody more clearly made an inspector-ish comment about Dan.

think about it from the pov as Dan being mafia. It’s more alarming from dans perspective than Tranters imo. Like why would someone want to get this information about me. From Tranters perspective as mafia, Dans name would have been interchangeable with any other name, and the post would be far less alarming imo.

I posted my thoughts on Samp. Biggest reason is that I'm 95% sure when I met him IRL he said that he's played Mafia before, which would make him calling himself a complete newb just a total unnecessary lie.
