ngl, 1985 by Bowling for Soup is a top 10 most anticipated song for me. low key Stacy's Mom too, that's going to be a fun nostalgia trip. lol, they did the Phineas and Ferb theme too? Maybe they should be in my top 10.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1985_(SR-71_song) "1985 is a song that was written and recorded by SR-71 for their album Here We Go Again. Mitch Allan, SR-71's frontman, gave the song to American rock band Bowling for Soup, who recorded an alternate version which reached the number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was featured on the band's album A Hangover You Don't Deserve."
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Breaking three and a half years of silence on this forum to say that I'll be there. I've done my share of single days the past five years or so, but this year will be my first time doing the whole weekend.
Hell, this is going to be my first full weekend festival since Bonnaroo 2013... but that's on me for spending most of my 30s in a relationship and place that weren't the right fit.
So I'll be bringing my midlife crisis tour to Chicago next weekend. See you there?

Surprising amount of Roo13/RF23 crossover: Gaslight Anthem Death Grips Frank Turner Cults
Ok I’m going to try and do the maybe impossible and coordinate an offsite all board brunch party. Details TBA but is there any date nobody gives a shit about the early bands?
Yeah following some other external circumstances it turned out this was impossible. We should probably just pick an early day set to meet at.
Power Ranking: 1.The Cure 2.The Postal Service 3.Death Grips 4.The Mars Volta 5.QSOTA 6.Viagra Boys 7.Dresden Dolls 8.100 Gecs 9.White Reaper 10.Frank Turner
HM: Flogging Molly (somehow I never seen them), Ride and Nothing
Pup,DCFC, and Mr.Bungle would have made my top 10 if not for conflicts. I have 9 must see on Saturday, so 6 out 9 isn't too bad!
Friday: P Funk and/or Yard Act > Code Orange > ??? > Breeders > probably Turnstile > Foos could be persuaded for Tegan and Sara
Saturday: Drain > Warpaint > Jehnny Beth > White Reaper > Viagra Boys > Death Grips > Gec > QotSA > Mr Bungle > Black Angels LN might be a little curious to see some of ICP though
Sunday ESB > Nothing > ??? > The Cure

there are definitely more food vendors this year than last, but there's 28 red food stalls in the main food area on the east side this year compared to 22 last year. Not a huge jump but hopefully relieves some of the pressure.
Ok making a call now: if we want to have a meetup that's not crazy early so people have time to filter in, the best time to do it is probably for Quasi at 1:30 so that way people can meet up a chill spot before going off to do P funk or whatever. Meet me there, I will wear the unicorn horn and the Inforoo hat.
