trantsgiving would like to officially ask for an extension. i havent had time to give d2 a full reread and im uniquely very aware (knowing im town, and knowing i am unfortunately a question mark to other townsfolk rn) that this game does have the potential to end with a mafia win here in d3 if i am exiled and it turns out neither cinci nor jortles was maf (unlikely that neither was but certainly possible, re: the scenario i've already posited in that all three maf have hardly been poked at, and thus their whacks arent going to directly point to them either).

like if this is MD/teddy/pinky or whatever (just throwing out three names from that list i posted of folks who havent really received heat in d1 or 2), and i get exiled, we are donezo. fellow townies, whoever you may be out there: pls think of the numbers here. MD is talking up exiling me as a hedge, but we are in d3 with almost certainly 2, maybe all 3, mafia still alive. if you believe as i do that at least two of the maf have been able to sit back and chill mostly, then we need to be looking at those folks right now. im on MD and think cum is also a solid option because those two at least did have 1+ nuanced weird interaction w one or both of our whacks, so at least we are working from somewhere rather than taking a shot at the dark on, like, pinky. who i dont think has been mentioned once in any sus light

I also mentioned pink as a possible third today, d1/2 said we should look at the people without votes once we move on from the whack, and d2 laid out a case for browell to get looked at.

Don’t know how it was weird. I was moving to balance the lock you gave to start everything off, and if we’re going to narrow it down to 2 people for another runoff then it might as well be the two that have been the most active at this point. Was not expecting all these other moves to Cincy though - that is weird.

to me, it is more a matter of - why would i draw that drastic of attention to myself "saving my teammate" at the last moment, when then my maf team of myself and jortles and whoever was just going to select a whack that so painfully obviously points to jortles that he is good as dead d2 anyway? im a better player than that. if samp was whacked bc of his jortles comments, surely maf was already discussing that at very end of d1, and it would've been just about the absolute worst move as his teammate to attempt to save him, thus bringing eyes on me, all to whack someone who points an arrow right at jortles who dies d2 anyway

i know other fellow townsfolk dont have the option right now to play this game assuming that neither myself nor jortles is maf (and i assume pretty much all fellow town do think at least one of us is, i prob would in your shoes too given the whacks), but i know that my strategy here needs to be looking at this as if jortles isnt mafia, nor was cinci. bc that is the scenario in which we need to pick right here in d3 or WE LOSE.
and i dont think it is entirely unlikely. ive been on maf teams before we where n1 we are analyzing who to whack, and truly no one has said anything direct to any of the three of us that jumps out as "hey, they really might be inspo." at that point, you can either go off vibes with, say, a really nuanced moment/interaction and use that for your n1 whack or go misdirection. bonus points if you can do a bit of both, and that definitely could've happened w the n1 whack if jortles isnt maf. they'd go into d2 feeling pretty damn confident town would want jortles dead due to samp's comments. as did in fact play out.
in an ideal world, this runoff would include both MD and cum. something that hasnt been pointed out is, if jortles was maf then why hasnt cum been whack? cum was definitely more directly poking at jortles d2 than otter was

this post is so weird to me. MD coming out being all "mafia is dumb losers if they guessed wrong on night 1!!!" n1 whack is easy to get wrong when maf. idk why he posted this but it sticks out in my reread of d2.
I literally questioned samps motives and then went oh yeah whatever after his response lol. This is just another repeat of last game where Jortles fucked up and guessed me because I was just a little hesitant about voting tranter before I legit voted for him.
