Honestly pretty proud of the fact I'm so far below everyone in this. My music taste must SUCK. Nobody here give me the aux ever. If I tell you a band is good, make sure to go to the opposite set. Miss it at all costs.

There were 3 Kendrick songs, I picked my least favorite of the options. If you'd gone with anything on Section80 you wouldn't have gotten the downvote, GKMC is my favorite album of all time.

yes. I pay for Apple Music and have a free spotify account. I just login to spotify on my computer to get the song link to submit. And then you can just listen to the playlist on shuffle when it comes time to vote. Really hasn't been much of a pain at all

He's got better songs, I wasn't thinking when I went with that one- it was my introduction to his work and it made me listen to his other stuff. I really like Beggar's Song by him.

i think for all rounds people should balance both (pertinence to prompt/theme + personal tastes), but in this one in particular i think the former should be weighed heavily.
i'm not the hugest death metal fan, but if there's a super slaughter-happy song in that genre on here, i will definitely consider effectiveness of selection as much as if not more than personal preference.
