I haven’t thought about what strategies could be used I just didn’t know if you were doing it o for a reason or not.

but yeah I still think that move would've been unnecessary as mafia, and really all of the potent voters, so fine just looking at the otter guys.
i think for today's exile we should def go an otter voter. but i do think the third could potentially be lurking in the potent voters - a theo or a cum - but yeah for today i am not gonna worry about that. we have time.

Ok went back and took a look at all the moving around and posts. My general reasoning here is... last to vote and voiced a lot of concern over tranter being stacked (plus seemed to really avoid voting for him).
If moving of votes is really your concern, then there is a way more obvious candidate in this runoff.
Not much I can say. Wouldn’t be worth it to reveal myself absent my imminent death. I tried to give some subtle reveals towards potent… if you read back with that in mind, I trust you’ll see it.
And I am with tranter, need some more deets/insight here. Pretty unusual to have inspo in final d1 runoff w their given but it has happened before
If I was faking, I’m not sure whether I would name potent. I could create a lot more chaos by naming a third party, if believed (which you should), potent would presumably be voted out. After all, I’d be asking for you to vote the other person in the runoff out, given or not… then create the chaos of naming another Townee to eliminate on day 2.
The shame of it is… we were all so close to eliminating my given on day 1… but also throwing me out to the wolves. It was exciting, but frustrating.
unless anyone has any in-game experience that says otherwise, faking inspector day one feels like an insanely ballsy move since there’s no way the real inspector wouldn’t be alive to see it + they wouldn’t know who the real inspo was given, possibly giving away 2 names in one. (also if this is all self-explanatory, i’m sorry but i’m trying to talk myself through this whole thing)
More by the stacking pink to 3, then down to 2, then stacking tranter to 3. Struck me as unusual. Worth looking at moving forward.

I was referring more to this post. As potent was the one who stacked pink to 3 then went off pink. Tried to draw some attention to this weird behavior.
Frankly, all my initial confusion about the triple stacking was a (admittedly less than effective) attempt to direct the town’s attention to those who had participated in the early triple stacking (eg potent).
im obviously inclined to believe you not only because it is currently an uncontested inspo reveal, but also this sus movement you were pointing out above is exactly what i was referring to re: potent and the couple folks who were moving on/off/around him, and i mostly got flack for it.
I appreciated the effort and was cheering you on from the sidelines, without making it too obvious. I almost pushed potent out in the three person runoff, but it was within an hour of the deadline and would have triggered an auto extension.
im about to go back and see who all was in a tizzy about my switch to potent (besides potent himself obviously) and saying my reasons werent good enough, i was being silly, etc. i am guessing there might be a teammate in there - and then the third is likely better hidden, if i had to take a guess at it
Go get em. I think the triple stacking and weird early movement will definitely yield a second mafia member. I agree that the third is probably in better shape and more hidden.
with potent as maf, this d1r1 dance between them does not look good for pink. they did a weird retaliatory initial vote on each other, then BOTH switched off one another as soon as they could. i said earlier that pink did a couple townish looking things so far, but this def isnt one of them.

Rummy… strong town read. Or playing a near-perfect mafia, which rummy is entirely capable of. May be fruit vendor.
Pink… either highly confused town or mafia. The early vote trade with Mafia. Then pushing tranter to 3 … switch to me during a runoff. Was squarely in my crosshairs for N1 guess.
Cincy’s early switch from potent to me is sus, but also self preservation. Then switched back to potent. … then switched back to me (plausibly to even up numbers) … a lot of sus moves… deserves scrutiny. Under consideration for N1 guess.
Jortles jumped around a lot and ultimately got to potent. Strong town read.
Theo - pushed potent during runoff. Quiet, but nothing overtly sus. Leaning town.
Granted - quiet. At one point had three votes and then slid quietly out of the radar, kinda interesting but not sure there is anything to it.
Maddog - pushed me to 4 vs. potent in last runoff. Wrong, but could just be a bad guess. I’m sure I’ve got a few in this rant.
Tranter - had a lot of early votes and drifted out of runoff despite being very quiet. cast the deciding vote against over potent. See maddog, but even more egregious. Deserves scrutiny. Under consideration for N1 guess.
Samp, Maddog, Theo, tranter- guessing there is at least one mafia in here. Played quiet and generally below the radar. Would focus on transfer maddog and then samp from this group.
