I do guess it's possible if mafia is pink and potent and rummy that rummy making that move there would cheapen it.
it would cheapen it sure but also be pretty dumb if I was mafia. If inspo had either my name OR the name I moved off of in this scenario, that’d stick out to them immediately and they’d prob guess the name that they didn’t have that very Night.

you have conveniently ignored two direct pertinent questions I asked. If you’re going to ignore votes and movement there in D2 entirely, all for a gut read on “but she made fruit jokes and so she must be mafia,” can you at least explain that theory a bit more? Or show these egregious posts you claim I made on the matter?

to be honest, rummy’s posts did lead me to believe she was fruit. and i think teasing it d1 absolutely has importance, as it gives everyone a reason to keep you alive, as you’re essentially saying “i’m town and i can prove it for you tonight”. but i’m honestly not sure if that gives me more of a maf or town reading bc if she was maf, i feel like that’d be an awful strategy since we’d all just find out it’s not her anyways and call her on it.

yeah I guess lesson learned for future that d1 fruit jokes can have that sort of implication. It felt to me similar to when d1 people are making blatant jokey posts like “can’t wait to guess ____ tonight” when they’re not actually inspo & no one takes the post seriously.
I just think it is noteworthy that both tranter and cinci are choosing to hang their hats on this fruit jokes thing instead of following the info we have from potent being maf.

I don't have too much to add on top of what Otter and Rummy have already spelled out about Pink's moves. However, I will point out that Pink was the first person to move to Otter after Otter brought attention to the triple stacking and vote changes that involved Pink and Potent, and Pink did have plenty of other people to move to.
It is strange because Pink wasn't in line to be exiled at the time either of these posts were made. This was the vote total at the time of Rummy's post:

i get what you’re saying but this was the count directly before i moved to otter: Pink 3 - (Rummy, Otter, Tranter) Potent 2 - (Cum, Jortles) Tranter 2 - (Samp, Pink) Jortles 2 - (Maddog, Theo) Otter 2 - (Potent, Cinci)
i only really had 3 options there so i don’t think picking otter was a crazy move. the reason i chose him over potent or jortles was bc he was already on me, meaning that if we ended up in a runoff together, he wouldn’t get a vote back to move onto me. if i voted for either of the other two, they would have.

truly tho. I’m not gonna devote any more time to highlighting how absurd it is bc I trust others can see that it is too. I’ve already detailed why it would’ve been so dumb for a mafioso to make the move I did if they were partners w both potent and pink; literally just asking inspo to guess one of them that night
