this whole thing was sketch IMO.

Over the course of d1, it was Samp > tranter > Maddog (confirmed town) > pink > otter. Didn't move to potent til post reveal, and was the second to last to actually make the move to potent after otter came out w his name.

Then as you can see above, Samp gave this pretty lame reasoning for voting our inspector ("last to vote and voiced concern over tranter being stacked")... last to vote often really doesn't mean much - sure sometimes it is a mafioso but it often is just a townie, or in this case inspo who was probably hanging back a bit to see where people voted. Otter immediately pointed out that if Samp is concerned about vote movement, there's a much better choice in the runoff (Potent, a mafioso).

And Samp's second post quoted above was also sketch upon reflection. Yeah yeah wants pink in, but he isnt, so it goes. He "looked at potent but he only made a couple votes" - not really sure what that even means? He assumes mafia would move around a ton? Inaccurate.

Then last but not least, he talks about the "not moving innuendo" that Jortles & myself were discussing. The thing that made me sus on Potent. Who ended up being mafia.

switching to samp would be better for self-preservation but i think i’m gonna stay on tranter (helps knowing the other person on him is confirmed town)

I rly don’t trust tranter in this game bc basically none of what he’s been stating makes sense or seems to be the right path to go down w the information we have.

But Capital Cincy , can you look back at things before this deadline ends pls? I’m sorry I called you lazy earlier - just been feeling a little frustrated w how multiple people are coming in saying like “alright so tell me what’s the deal” or saying they’ll read back but then not coming back to anything. If you’re town and I said that, I’m sorry. But can you speak to any insights you might have aside from thinking I’m suspicious (for the fruit thing? Or was it something else, I honestly don’t recall if you stated your reasoning )

I like my vote on cinci. Not opposed to tranter. Why are you townish on cinci?

I think Pink is our best bet. That vote trade was weird and potent is the guy who always posts the "no votes" thing. Just seems like a move he'd do so he doesn't have to include him or his teammate on it.

But look at what I DID say: “gotta live to eat it.” That was—again, jesting—reference to the notion of my RECEIVING fruit to eat. That would mean getting it from someone else, who is fruit vendor.

You keep saying inaccurate things about what I’ve done and said. This is super frustrating! You are clearly working with some kind of agenda to spin a story by cherry picking information and working in inaccuracies.

I never voted for maddog. I moved from tranter to jortles and then to pink before otter. When I voted for otter I expressed that I didn’t really feel confident with either otter or potent as options. I said I was working with limited information, and didn’t like having to vote with what I had available at the time. Remember, this was before otter’s reveal. And look, I started getting ready for bed shortly after I saw otter’s reveal. If you recall, we were waiting around for a while before otter popped back online. I wasn’t going to lose sleep over all of this. I checked back in the next morning when I could and moved to potent.

And I know the whole back and forth you had with Jortles about potent probably made sense to the two of you, but it was confusing to me. It just seemed like you were dealing with a lot of things that could be happening but not a lot that was documented as actually happening. And hey, you were right after all, so I guess the answer was in there! I clearly got it wrong, but your rundown of things was super hard to follow, and I tend to default to the simplest answer being the right one.

I’ve been believing you were town this whole time, but this is the second post where you’ve misrepresented what happened with me. Makes me really question that assumption.

I don't understand the faking the fruit thing. if tranter is town it seems like a weird thing to harp on.

I'm sure if you go to any of the doctor games someone that wasn't doctor most likely flat out said I'm doctor

every handful of games someone opens with "I'm inspector" or says things really baity to trick mafia into whacking them.

no one knew how the fruit thing was gonna play out. mafia wouldn't really have any sort of precedent to say 'fruit person wouldn't do this/that'. so idk it just felt like an attempt to mislead mafia more than town because at some point fruit person would reveal
