I picked up a new solar panel from an open box sale and while I was looking at cables for it I realized I was only getting 1/3rd of my potential solar output so now I'm looking forward to better solar! I should be able to bring in around 500w now if all goes well.
If you're flying in and need to rent a car anyway, consider pricing out small campervans or converted vans. There are some surprisingly excellent prices and I just booked one from Lost Campers yesterday for about $80/day. Now I don't have to bring a tent, bedding, or really any camping supplies on the plane, and I won't have to buy a cheap styrofoam cooler from Walmart. All included with the van. Gonna be a game changer for both sleeping and packing up on Monday.

I second the camper van or even those mattresses made to fit SUVs. right before Jucy went belly up I purchased one of their camper vans for like $5k and it's been a life saver for every Coachella and desert daze since 2018! We use it here and there on other trips as well but I wish we had chances to use it even more.
Set up and break down at camp is so much easier and the rest of your spot can be used for a shady spot to socialize. And yes, my back couldn't take another year of air mattresses.

Didn't expect W2 Camping to sell out so quickly. Got on the waitlist through Lyte on January 31st, and they say my chances are high. Does anyone have experience in the past with Lyte? No need to worry that I won't get a pass right?
