I know Danny doesn’t meet the wiki rule but I think this is because whoever made his Wikipedia just didn’t bother listing everything in that space since it would be super long. The wiki page for his solo album has it listed as “industrial metal” and “industrial rock”.
During his Coachella performances, he played 6 songs from Big Mess and 6 songs from Oingo Boingo which is considered "ska" and "post punk." That is 12/19 songs from his setlist in the "heavy" territory, and if you watched the live stream (or were lucky enough to be there), the rest of the show went hard AF as well.
And for further justification, his live band consists of Josh Freese and Wes Borland. I rest my case.
