Is this your first one? It definitely can be a little overwhelming but that is part of the fun.
it is! looking forward to it. think the plan right now is going monday for new order, going back home (corpus) to enjoy a few days of spring break with the family, then going back up for thursday -> end of the weekend.

Is there a list / link / something of all the unofficial shows, outside of the festival programme ? I know this is way smaller now than 10+ years ago when I was a regular. Used to see Prince, Hole, Fiona Apple, Lil Wayne, Kanye at this thing, once saw The xx in front of 27 people. Going again this year, mostly for movies and interactive, but would catch some shows if there is something for my taste....

How does the New Order show work? I have an interactive badge, which I believe gets me secondary entry after Platinum and Music folks are covered. What are my odds of that actually happening if I show up early? I haven't been able to do much of the Music week in the past since my work is footing the bill, but would love to see that show.

If you show up early you should be fine. There will be fewer people with music badges there that early in the week and that is a bigger venue.
Definitely going to be there for soul glo. Wonder if they have someone bigger yet to be announced since pissed jeans played that party last year under high on fire
