Dan chastising pink like he’s actually inspector seems like overacting and his smoking gun thing was less le epic trell and more sus. No one else’s reasoning has been particularly convincing.

again tons of cutesy stuff between the two pink was in position to be exiled most of the day, asked a couple times if people wanted to move (lol), then cum locked on him at 4pm - he faked around 6pm.
Dan808 - looking at this, i think pink/cum were teammates only if they'd already decided to force a fake. for fun i guess? cum could be a fan of that, certainly. but i mean, voting each other then her LOCKING on him, if they were maf together then at this point they must've decided he'd fake so she was hurrying the process along.

alright, so here's what it comes down to for me... my original thought here was to determine if there was a trio that made sense wherein TWO maf are still alive today, instead of one - because that would be the only scenario in which town could lose at the end of this Day. but i've struggled to find one that really fits. farris/samp/pink doesn't because they could've ended it yesterday and won. farris/durkle/pink doesn't make sense to me at all (truly no offense to those three dudes but i just dont see it with the move that maf decided to pull with the D2 fake). dan/pink/farris or samp (durkle would be hilarious but nah) is possible, but im coming out of this feeling pretty confident that we just have one maf left to kill. so thats nice.
next was looking back not just at votes and where/how people moved but what they said, how they said it. samp and farris have both felt off to me at times, in differing but somewhat compatible ways. overall, samp has made more sense with his posts (sry farris but you've had some true ramblings of a madman, especially some of those D2 posts) but he's been pretty switch-around-y and lose with his convictions. i know as Lost Town i can appear that way sometimes, but something that sticks out to me with samp is how he sorta accused me in D3 of "being too chill," when ummm i feel like i was throwing out lots my thoughts on the table, spending tons of time and energy, dissecting pink's performance to show town why he was maf and we needed to oust him, etc. like, should i have been cursing and shouting more? it was an odd comment, and felt somewhat project-y. he has been the chillest energy in D3/D4, IMO. and idk why town would feel chill in this game that's been confusing, frustrating, and specifically shitty in that the only outwardly confirmed town we have is our whacks.
but farris has at times just made NO FUCKING SENSE. throwing shit at the wall, seeing what sticks: thats classic maf behavior. both have been on dan's ass at times then defending dan at others; yet i've been the one called out as "suspicious for having a town read on dan?" at least i've stuck to my opinion and not bounced to and fro, depending on the discourse and where others are leaning. it feels to me that one of these dudes has been taking the opportunity to act similar to the other, who is clueless town. trying to figure out which is which is the headfuck.
im not gonna be confident in my choice here even after i make it, but i need to pick a road. we have most of today before this round ends, and i feel like ive dissected the shit out of D1, but i might give D2 one more look later just to make sure im not missing anything, especially re: behavior from these two.

The thing that makes me not completely sold on Ferris is if he is teammates with pink, he willing decided to kill him off instead of guaranteeing a d5 for maf by getting rummy out of the way d3. Maybe maf could’ve thought their chances were better with such a move? If ferris is maf, he’s gotta be the last one left.

To expand on the last sentence. I think the most likely Ferris maf scenario is potent - pink - Ferris

I really don't see the argument for being at the top of a list. Is it just, as rummy says, that I've changed my thinking over time? I've been pretty transparent since the beginning that I've found this game to be pretty difficult to work out. I didn't feel like I had a lot to go on at first, and I've made it clear in my posts what lead me to change my thinking over time. If someone is seeing something I'm doing as sus and wants to ask me a question about it, just ask me.
the frustrating part of trying to analyze notion of farris maf versus farris town is that...i feel like some of the stuff he's said that's most sus/bizarre could also, on the flip side, be precisely why he doesn't make sense as being maf. by way of just being so disjointed and out there, not really pushing a clear narrative to benefit maf. case in point, this whole mess:

The italicized part is what I take the most issues with. Where Dan seems almost completely on board with pink being a fake on both sides of his argument.
My biggest thing with Dan is that he changed after D1. Pink escapes the runoff D1. Dan starts agreeing with Rummy D2. Then Dan and Pink are in the runoff and Dan goes quiet. Dan escapes the runoff and all of a sudden Pink is about to get exiled and the inspector reveal couldn't have been botched much more.
What if it is Pink - Dan - Another (possibly even Rummy) And they decided, with one close call after another and about to lose one mafia. Why not fake reveal and secure town favor with at least one mafia left. Makes me think that even more with Dan trying extra hard to get Pink voted off end of D2. And then flipping to basically agreeing with Rummy again D3. Almost like the botch reveal was too convenient. Dan tried so hard to side with Pink yet didn't tell Pink to shut the hell up after reveal.

I see what you're going for here, but I still feel like it is strange stance to take of voting off someone just because they're inactive. I remember checking pink's profile, and it said he hadn't been active since right before LLL started the game. Like I said, if the inactive person is just town then no one is going to give a shit that they're being voted off. I also think you get valuable information from how someone reacts when they're targeted.

The reason I made that post about not moving my vote off Pink was because you vouched for Pink so hard which is what caught my eye thinking there might be something there. When you called me out I thought it was interesting so I changed my vote to see what else would happen.

I can see the samp or farris logic and of the two I am also personally leaning towards samp simply on vibes. My question is what happens when we vote him off and we still have another round?
We luckily have a day to feel things out. I HOPE we only have one maf.
