since i assume tomorrow will be a fast round with me being the exile, im gonna try to do a bit of analysis for town with my knowledge that pink is maf but looking at it from the perspective of "if Pink was actually inspo" and seeing how things fall:
-d1, MD made the move of Durkle > Pink > Durkle. certainly a bit odd that out of all the options for "inspector" to guess N1, he went for the guy who chose to remove his vote from said inspo and placed it elsewhere - not just any "elsewhere" but onto Durkle, where I was at. so if Pink is inspo with my name, he decides his N1 best guess is the guy who moved off pink into alignment with his teammate? pink literally hasn't even given a single reason as to why he supposedly "guessed" MD anyway, and looking back at D1 i dont know if he'll be able to muster one. maf probably should've thought that through before claiming MD was N1 guess with me as the given.
-following this same thread in a way, d2 Pink places his vote on cum - who also was in alignment with me at end of D1 (voting for Durkle). is he claiming that his line of reasoning has been to think that all maf piled onto the same person with me (guessing MD N1 and then going for Cum D2)?
-also in D2: MD is dead, and pink asks this random question about the "<"s that MD used in D1; it struck me as potential maf fluff post then and now am glad to see that my hunch was correct. we have a whack with voting data and all to work from, and so-called "inspector" is asking questions about the number of characters the dead guy used, who he claims he already knew at this point was town?

you’re right that there’s not a ton of logic behind my decisions and that’s because i genuinely didn’t have much to work with (at least not from my perspective. i’m sure a more seasoned player could have handled it all way better). you’ve been playing your cards close to your chest until today, so it’s been hard to notice weird motion around you. i should have just placed my vote on you d2 and used a bullshit excuse but i didn’t which was pretty dumb on my part (and i’m gonna feel bad if cum ends up being town and is just a casualty in all this). i only mentioned md’s “>’s” because i thought it would throw mafia off my scent and would maybe get people to actually speak a bit and show their cards.
