I was trying to wait until Durkle chimed in but this is fucking ridiculous. I dont care if mafia reverse, double reverse or 360 backflip, you do not whack a claimed inspo on D2. JFC I'm locking my vote on Cum again.
Make no mistake. Mafia will be laughing at us in their DMs if we exile pink here. It makes the game so much easier for them. Regardless if he’s faking or not.
this is my first game of mafia, I’m going to be sticking to my own guns rather than be influenced. (Honestly though what a fun game, I love the mental work this is I haven’t used detective skills in a game in a WHILE!)
rummy staying on me honestly makes me more sus of cum. if cum was town, rummy could go along with what dan is saying, vote cum out, pick a whack other than me tonight, causing me to lose my credibility, and easily manipulating the rest of the game. at this point i’m leaning towards rummy - cum - market but i’m open to any other interpretations. if that is the three, it’d be a bit of a sloppy job so i could very easily be wrong

Do not vote off the person claiming inspector on D2*
It's too early for mafia to be sure enough to pull this off without it blowing up in their face. On the slim chance things played out in such a conducive fashion, I'd rather not base my votes off slim chances. Especially when voting off a true inspector is catastrophic towards the town winning. And there ain't no way in hell Cum is real inspector in hiding.
Vote off Cum and get some info from the whack, this is how we gain back some of the ground we just lost with inspector wiff and not having the revealed mafia in the runoff.

If they are inspector they are the worst inspector ever. I don't want them having the deciding vote D2.
As for Rummy, like I said there's still too many possibilities and I'm not beholden to one throughline at this point.

yeah that farris post is a weird one. there are about 6 people i think could make sense as partners with pink at this point.
and re: the bolded - yep, pink's half-hearted "i just couldnt figure out how to throw any suspicions on rummy, who is my 'given,' oh well. guess i shouldve but now it is too late" makes me think that their decision to fake (or at least who to frame with it) was cooked up fairly quickly, probably just once they realized pink was in position for exile so was gonna be dead anyway.

i mean i’m genuinely addressing my limitations here lmao. i’m sure some of you could tell me what i could have done better if you were in my position (i welcome it honestly bc it’ll help in future games) but at the time, i really wasn’t getting a strong read on anyone outside of my given. again, i should have voted rummy and made up some bs but my thinking at the time was that i wanted to give rummy a chance to vote between some people that didn’t include her again. i genuinely would like to hear some ideas on who else i could have placed votes on after d1 with rummy as my given.

Thing is Ive been sus of dan from the start so him changing tones so quickly and firmly does not stir confidence. While I would also align with the idea that a newbie flubbed reveal (relateable) could easily be dan feeding pink direction in the maf chat
My gut says dan - farris - pink. With all the cross talk I think its likely we havent eliminated a maf yet. Im leaning pink but am open to any thoughts if anyone thinks my reasoning is doo doo stupid.

Why would I be working with Dan or Pink and then be the first person to vote when the runoff started? That takes away all power I have from being able to control saving any of them.

I thought it was fine. People must’ve forgotten there’s a main course, because they’re filling up on rummy’s word salad. This is just embarrassing for town rn

and, as it’s been pointed out multiple times, if this was all a mafia scheme, it would mean that maf was 100% confident in md (or potent) being inspo. is there anything either of them did that would inspire such confidence? like obviously you could create a narrative of mafia thinking either of them *could* be inspo, but enough to fake an inspo reveal d2??? i have absolutely no reason to be lying about this and it sucks that no matter what happens, i feel like it’ll be trivialized (especially if mafia can do self-wacks??? would me being whacked tonight even change the mind of anyone currently voting for me?) feels like town is fighting an uphill battle if we can’t agree on a narrative to follow here
