Valid af, Post is more true to country roots than most of this pop hick hop garbage that's all over country radio.
I'd argue Post is a better country artist than he is at hip hop.

My only reservation is the "and friends part"
i'm not Kern so i can't speak on exactly what he wants to do but i think the "and friends" could make the argument stronger if he gets a solid cast of country artists

Yeah I thought having a collection of unannounced guests join him with his backing band (he uses Dwight Yoakams band in the sturgill cover vid I posted. Dwight is also on my lineup) would bolsten the arguement since he technically hasn't released any country songs of his own. But I fully expect him to release a banger of a country album at some point soon and ya'll are gonna remember this day.
