The grind never stops at UncKeRn LLC! (I am working overtime due to the hiccup earlier that pulled my attention away. Sorry faye webster.) We'll be featuring three artists from the undercard that you shouldn't miss at this year's Knights & Nights.
First up: regular human singer/songwriter/actor/comedian Matt Berry. He's one of the leads in the tv show spin-off What We Do in the Shadows and has previously been in The IT Crowd, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and The Mighty Boosh, all the while recording albums and composing scores for various tv series. Matt's musical style pulls inspiration from the prog rock artists he grew up listening to, so feel free to drop some acid and boogie along with the Berry.
Genre: psychedelic rock, folk rock FFO: Deerhunter, Melody's Echo Chamber, Kikagaku Moyo
Next, we have LA band Teenage Wrist. They've recently gone through a minor lineup change and are now a duo, but don't let that deter you from checking out their heavy shoegazey sound. They've just released a song with another shoegazey duo, Softcult.
Genre: alt rock, grunge, shoegaze FFO: Deftones, Nothing, Gleemer
Finally, we have Cincinnati's Fabricated Freedom. Featuring inforoo dot com's own Capital Cincy , their latest EP is what you'll be jamming to all summer long.
