you should really watch Walk Hard. it's a rare five star comedy, and it's aged really well. phenomenal cast. tim meadows is so good in that movie lmao.
especially for music fans, i imagine you've seen countless music documentaries etc., you'll really appreciate the satire.

I've told this story before on inforoo dot com, but this Walk Hard scene is what convinced me to finally try marijuana at the age of 32:
incredible. jack white is scary good in that scene. it would've been fine as just a silly cameo but he's legitimately funny, like even if that was some no-name actor it would be a highlight of the movie.
