I'd like some recs of things to check out. I never listen to music anymore and haven't paid attention to it in years so don't know many names. I'd never heard of Blackpink and until recently thought Bad Bunny was a female pop star to give ya an idea of where I'm at lolz.
Last weekend I enjoyed and am gonna rewatch Chem, 2many, Underworld, Blink, and Gorillaz. I liked WILLOW, Alex G, and Weyes Blood. Checked out Charli and Christine which were fine. I started listening to Yaeji this week and am excited for that. Electronic of many stripes and indie rock have forever been favs of mine. Some folk would be fine. Based off all that, what's a thing or two I might like?

Boygenius was awesome on Saturday last weekend
The Blaze was cool chill electronic music
If you want 30 minutes of free jazz, a lot of people really enjoyed Domi and JD Beck (the drumming is really impressive)
Didn't see MUNA as I was in the Sonora at that time, but I imagine they put on a great show

Friday
Yungblud: It's what the kids are listening to. Rock leaning pop. Give it a few songs. If you don't like it after that you probably won't.
Dombresky: Really notable house name. You'll hear all the top beatport tracks probably.
Wet Leg: The hot new thang of indie rock
Saturday:
Sofi Tukker: excellent & hot portuguese inspired dance music duo with live instruments
Elderbrook: Another live instruments EDM guy. Great voice. Good songs.
Snail Mail: Really great indie rock, recorded anyway. have heard mixed reviews live.
Sunday:
Porter Robinson: I think it's just a dj set, but either way he's one of THE names in edm
Big Wild: EDM dj turned indie musician. The set is interesting and the music is very good vibes.

Catch the comet is coming 30 minute clip if you like aggressive jazz. Dinner Party (Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin, 9th Wonder) for more old style jazz but upgraded with some hip hop influence.

Cassian: Excellent deep melodic house
Porter got pretty widely panned here for last week’s stream. It was cheesy and generic.

ah damn. Was it a dj set? His live set is so good.
He did some singing but I wasn’t one of the ones bitching about it. I only caught a couple minutes skimming through. It was all pretty soft but had some dreaminess behind it. But it wasn’t much. If you’re a Porter fan, you’ll probably like it.
I feel like cheesy and generic is just what Porter is. though it doesn't seem like they did him any favors with that timeslot
He's evolved over the years into more dreamy-styled pop EDM. Worlds was a decent stage production though I didn't really like the music that much. That's almost 9 years old. And then he did the Virtual Self album and shows. Before that, when he was super young, he was doing dub and was actually pretty good at it I thought.
Cee Lo guesting with Tobe Nwigwe right now. Is this the first time he's been at Coachella since his 2011 set went wrong, or is there a previous guest spot I'm forgetting?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
