Yeah I’d argue this year has really changed things for Lana billing wise. She also seems to care - iirc she was pissed she didn’t get a separate press release for headlining the ‘Other Stage’ at Glasto.

I don’t think he’s trolling or malicious though, just maybe hearing things through the grapevine. But I do think the Jerry/Adrian remain in light shows make TH a bit less likely

what does a LDR headline set look like? people still complain about Drake being boring, LDR almost only works if there's a high energy act closing the stage.
as far as the Talking Heads, it really doesn't make sense that there would be bandmates performing album sets in the middle of next year if they're really active, which despite their recent "activity", is still a major long shot and would be a MAJOR golden goose for any promoter.

I don’t think a headlining set has to be high energy necessarily, but I can see Lana bringing out friends like she did at the Bowl — think it was Joan Baez for Diamonds & Rust and Chris Isaak Wicked Game.
How far in advance did we know last year’s headliners? As in no official confirmation but general idea…
well, we knew Frank Ocean was headlining in August 2021, there were a lot of rumors about Bad Bunny circulating around this time but there was a lot of doubt surrounding it, and I don't think we really had a solid lead on Blackpink until HitsDailyDouble reported it was going to be them in early January.
