Does any insider know if Lana was in talks to play in 2023? I wonder if there was a reason she skipped last year (and played almost every other fest).
The only place they really could have slotted her was subbing for blackpink since Frank wanted Bjork and Bad Bunny wanted Gorillaz. Add in the radius clause, she could make a ton of money playing all of the other festivals. I get why Coachella would pass based on exclusivity of the booking and I get why she would pass based off the money she could make elsewhere.

And subbing for Blackpink was essentially being third on the day, which I doubt she’d want (even if it’s a sub on the poster).
Is Dua Lipa gearing up for a new album release? I wonder if we’ll see her in 2025 instead.
Album is dropping sooner rather than later. Likely no better time in her career for Apri 2024 Coachella. A nice Coachella booking if the fest gets the first performance of most of the new album tracks.
Only spoilers for Dua-Tyler-Lana might be Talking Heads(pipe dream but likely last window to do it) or NSync. IMO, the boy-man band should bump to 2025 any touring activity because of Britney book fall out. I find it funny that Justin was promised 2018, then all the Beyonce baby-gaga swap happened and he was left out. Now Britney spoiled his 2024 plans, that may or may have not included coachella. Any other old Cochella board members remember the 2018 Justin rumours?

nothing insider here, but a year ago I remember reading that GV were asking and she was indifferent being sub or headliner. Maybe she was a back up name, which GV do have on hand if they are chasing something ambitious. LDR is now bigger and gained confidence in 2023 for bigger headline bookings.
So that amex vip package is not that great of a value. Saying you get complimentary preferred parking instead of legit buying the same pass is one way to disguise things.

Yeah she’d 100 open for Taylor. Tyler too, I think they’re friends. Still don’t see her subbing though.
Since we now know that the AmEx pre-sale will be on January 4th, does this confirm that the lineup will be out on the 2nd or 3rd? Has the AmEx pre-sale ever happened with no lineup out yet?

I imagine lineup drop planned for Jan 2. But I also can envision a delay where the AMEX sale gets delayed too - notably that tweet wasn’t from Coachella or AMEX.
