if it’s really Lana Stones and Tyler/Dua feels like Paul went really hard at Taylor and just whiffed and ended up with this. Two low energy headliners for the first time in how long. Been at least 10 years

Considering Aeg got her tour there must be something else that made it not happen IF thats the case. And they def wouldnt want that getting out pre lineup anyway. No way its money. She was willing to do Glastonbury and they pay next to nothing along with not having a ton of production flexibility. And they expect her there within a few years so a festival is def workable. Not like Coach wouldnt go all out to make that stage work when they gave Frank an ice rink.

Taylor agreed to do Glasto and a bunch of other European festivals like Mad Cool and Roskilde before finding out her real popularity level and realizing she can make way more money with solo shows

I do really think Tyler makes the most sense as either a sub playing after a headliner or RTTD playing after a headliner, given his experience leading into Beyoncé. Him and Lana co-headlining wouldn’t be crazy except it’d mean one weekend he’d open (and also I do agree Lana is bigger)

Festivals and solo shows pay differently btw. But ok. You think Taylor takes home that entire $12 mil a night herself? Not really.
I kind of have a feeling that will be Tyler this year
On that note, I feel like someone we’ve all counted out will be in. Like an Olivia Rodrigo or Zach Bryan or something
I'm gonna choose to believe Tyler is in because since he started releasing music in 2009, he has dropped an album every single year. This is the first year he deviated from that schedule and I feel like the only reason he would agree to do that is if he got a headlining spot on the condition of him debuting his new era at Coachella.
Considering his career trajectory it wasn't if he would headline, it was when. And this year makes tons of sense.
I took a break from the forum for a couple of years but why is every new album called an era now and why do people still pretend Pretty Lights is a subheadliner in 2023. Someone please reply in the private forums with the answer.
Uf, if somehow all 4 are there; Lana Stones Tyler and Dua - thats some good fun !
I can see this being a strong possibility, with Tyler taking the RTTD slot. Or if we think Dua isn’t in play, we get a surprise name in the 3rd HL slot…

ehhhh she was also living in England full time then and was planning on doing those "Lover Fest" dates in 2020 in the US which were going to essentially be solo shows billed as festivals. I think the idea of playing festivals appealed to her more at the time and then the Eras tour sort of became a necessity when she had to promote 3 albums released back to back at once.

4 albums, she never played any live shows after Lover came out. I do agree though.
