Im coming around to Lana / Stones / Tyler now I think. Idk why, but after some thought it kinda just feels iconic. Itll look great on the back of a faded denim jacket in 10 years.

Everyone bitching about Lana, Tyler, Stones, and possibly Dua Lipa. They're gonna be so mad when it's Lana, Tyler, Doja Cat. The undercard will make or break this year.
so i wasnt a huge fan of Lanas earliest records but i wanna give her another chance. what are her best newer albums/songs?
i truly do believe norman fuckin rockwell is her best project to date. wasnt a big fan of chemtrails or blue bannisters, but both have a few good tracks. did you know theres a tunnel under ocean blvd is getting a ton of praise from critics rn which is cool to see, much more of a poetic album than classic songwriting.
listen to all of norman (venice bitch is her best song yet) chemtrails: first half blue bannisters: arcadia, dealer, thunder DYKTATUOB: all of it, skip the interludes

Id give her debut, Born to Die, a relisten if you havent in a while. It got panned by publications like Pitchfork for ridiculous reasons at the time and I think now they are all backpedalling because it was an excellent record from the start. Its probably got the greatest collection of her hits out of any other record.
Then Id check out Norman Fucking Rockwell for what her Era 2 sounds like. Tbh I kinda feel like every record post NFR sounds the same as NFR but maybe thats just me. Her latest album this year got great reception.
For latest songs, listen to A&W, Venice Bitch, Doin Time.

I know Vampire Weekend is thought to be at Just Like Heaven instead, but there was that rumor about Postal Service, Death Cab, Phoenix, and the War on Drugs playing, which is looking to be true. Makes me think that those are the headliners and maybe Vampire Weekend might end up at Coachella instead? I could see them as a good sub for the Stones or Lana.

Kilby Block Party probably rules out Postal Service and Death Cab. Where did you read this rumor?

I was just asking about this, wasn't the JLH lineup supposed to drop before Coachella's? if the people on here are correct, lineup is 4 days away and JLH is nowhere to be seen.

He’s talking about Postal Service/Death Cab being rumored for JLH I think; JLH and Kilby had crossover this year so it wouldn’t be out of the question.

people only assumed that because of cruel world but I always expected the JLH lineup in mid January.

Vampire Weekend feels like an “add them with the set times drop” band to me

Jlh got delayed cause of one booking having issues last minute. Sounds familiar doesnt it. So we wait.

Yep the rumor was Postal Service/Death Cab were at the top of the JLH lineup with Phoenix and The War On Drugs rounding out the top of the lineup. Came from this thread on reddit. This was posted before the teaser video that teased War on Drugs so I'm inclined to think it's right. Would agree though Vampire Weekend headlining Kilby may rule them out anyway.

It’s weird that vampire weekend isn’t mentioned in that post. If they aren’t playing coach or JLH that would be pretty surprising.

They're at Kilby which means they're out for Coachella

The 2 acts on Kilby that have ****** on them are Coachella acts.
