Tune Yards --> Andrew Bird --> Jeff Mangum --> Feist --> Bon Iver --> Radiohead was like cat nip for my NPR-listening, latte-sipping ass.
Sufjan's insane show in 2016 right before LCD was such a pleasant surprise considering we all thought we were gonna get a mellow Carrie + Lowell vibe in a tent.
Couple of The Knife shout-outs. I loved that Replacements > the Knife one-two but they were both too rare of gets on the poster for their own good, both would have been even better in the old Mojave

I remember when the schedule came out, everyone on the old Coachella board was panicking about "the Jack U people are just gonna drown out Sufjan's set just like the Lana people did to NMH!" And then he did that absolutely batshit show that still somehow successfully incorporated some of the Carrie & Lowell material. Half the people there were definitely only waiting for Jack U, but at least I couldn't hear their chatter over that sonic delight.

I’m still mad at myself for missing the Knife entirely to get an up close spot for that disastrous Outkast Weekend 1 performance.
Looks like MEUTE has all of April open. I'd love for them to return with an after dark set time. I know it's only been a couple years, but that 1pm set was packed so I think it would go over pretty well.

i was back by the soundboard and seeing the Jack U campers leave the front during Fourth Of July was a great moment lol
Favorite Outdoor Theatre Set is The Chemical Brothers last year. That was fucking spectacular. Tame Impala ‘13 and Replacements ‘14 were my favorites of previous years.

Yea to Florence! That was a great set, and probably my favorite leading up to that point. Chems last year took it for me, though.
Okay I'll say it: it's time for a Coachella cum leak, even if its just a dribble. GV can only give us blue balls so many times before someone blows a load so messy that it scrambles the lineup placements.

Okay, maybe that Knife set wasn't good. It was at least memorable! I remember way more about that set than I do about Outkast right afterward.
My friend and I went to go see Caravan Palace when the rest of our group was split between Girl Talk/Outkast and The Knife. I think we had the best time out of the three???
