Why would there be a flurry of hotel bookings when maybe the last couple acts are getting inked now?
It's clear they only have like a headliner and maybe a couple second lines to booked, but I'd be shocked if 95% of the lineup wasn't booked
They block out a couple hotels just for the shuttle drivers way in advance so I dont know why there would be an uptick right now for artists. Like why wouldnt the festival have arrangements with certain hotels and then give respective artist accommodations?
The hotel thing is also irrelevant. That tweet makes it seem like all artists are confirmed only the day the lineup drops. They're not dropping this thing until they have the third headliner nailed down. That could be in 15 mins, it could be next Tuesday. None of these people here know anything.
Mandalay Bay in the Sanora last year was a surprise act for me! I knew nothing about them and was taking a break from the heat, ended up being a top 10 act of the weekend for me.
