The lineup can come out at any moment at this point, the lineup link will probably go down and Coachella socials will unfollow previous acts a few minutes prior but that’s it.
I’m more going off the basis that Hangout dropped today and they share Lana + others potentially, but I honestly don’t know if that’s a determining factor.
I feel like they are still negotiating with one act and as soon as they are 100% confirmed the lineup will drop.
Coachella- Kanye 2011 and Childish Gambino 2019 Outdoor- Passion Pit 2010 due to it being my 18th birthday, first Coachella, and first time seeing that sunset!!! Gobi- hard to pick, but going with SBTRKT 2012 Mojave- the Rapture most definitely. Bought a w2 ticket for this set Sahara- idk if anything can beat deadmau5 debuting the cube for me. Try not to step in there much

Deadmau5 in 2010? That was my very first set ever at chella. We were stuck in traffic for HOURS and ran from Ralph’s all the way to the Sahara to make this set on time. It blew my mind as my first set but I’ve seen so much better since then.
I sat on the speakers for his whole set and was blown away literally! Probably have permanent hearing loss, but fuck it

I have only been to 2023 so far, but here’s my favorite from each stage, except Yuma, which I sadly didn’t check out. My goal this year will be making at least one set in Yuma and do lab.

yeah that set kinda sucked. No matter how you feel about each guy but they’re 100% better on their own than whatever the hell TBA was/is.
The set/tracklist wasnt great in a vacuum. That being said I think what made it such a memorable moment for people that were there was the culmination of the weekend along with the absolute hype of PHM (just having sold out msg in minutes, playing the popup Times Square bus, Skrillex’ return, Fred’s meteoric rise).
I’ve never witnessed a set in person where everyone was collectively just losing their shit and giving it all they had like that. So yeah, tracklist…I mean any set that has the same drop x3 throughout is probably not great, even moreso when it’s country riddim lol…but I would choose to go back to that moment in person over tons of better sets.
