I honestly loved her w2 set. She sat on the stool and played an amazing art. She also asked everyone to show their boobies, which I did. 😬
W2 set was lovely, having also attended the Ace Hotel show a few days beforehand which was the day after she got foot surgery and where the whole band was basically winging it acoustically, and we got the Father John Misty collaboration too. The Drake fans were insufferable, but it proved how Florence is just as captivating stripped down as she is running around and belting.

I definitely have a biased grudge against the Drake fans because my friend was closer to the stage than me and got knocked out during the crowd surge between Florence and Drake, lost her wallet in the process, ended up at the emergency tent, I had to rescue her, so then we had to leave the festival, have her file a police report, and then I ended up driving her to Palm Springs (my Airbnb was in Indio, so I had to drive back again after).
On the upside, I didn't have to watch the Drake set because of it!

Ouch. Sorry. But yes, you were saved from Drake. And I mean we werent allowed to shoot his ass anyway so of course I have grudges against those who dont let us roam free to photograph.
And Florence is a literal force of nature. Even if she had to sub again thats perfectly fine. Even a co headline with like Maggie Rogers who I think is gonna get the bump up soon to a headliner on the next album.
Re: But claiming that she's some slam dunk #1 because she grabbed a bigger crowd then the Foo Fighters is more of a testament to the Foo Fighters being a super stale booking.
Weren’t they booked under a weird pseudonym? That would probably suppress their crowd.
