Jamie coming back would be awesome because he doesn’t play a ton. That is the exact reason most of these repeat DJs are such boring bookings, because they play everywhere all the time

Yeah the app also has Dunkin, Method, Pinterest, White Claw and Heineken as partners. Not sure which weren't there before on the app for Dunkin for sure wasn't there when the app initially updated a few days ago.

Is Jamie xx coming back so soon exciting for the genre? Genuine question. It's the genre I'm least versed in (these days anyways, I was INTO it late 2000s/early 2010s), but Coachella seems to rebook the same DJs every couple of years lol. And I can't tell if these people warrant coming back so quick or if it's lazy booking. Like the DJ Snakes and Diplos of the world playing pretty frequently. (not meant to come off as insulting to Jamie xx or any other DJ!)
Yes bc every Jamie show is important and you pretty much have to go to a festival to see him. The diplos and DJ snake play throughout the year and are uninspiring

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Two Shell. The music is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the tracks will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also their nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- their personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these tracks, to realise that they're not just melodic- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Two Shell truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the beauty in Two Shell's existential song "✨ mum is calling ✨," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Two Shell's genius wit unfolds itself on their headphones. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Two Shell tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

I wish I wish with all my heart that Catfish & the Bottlemen would appear the lineup. But they’re more than likely saving their reunion performance at Reading & Leeds. Here’s to hoping there’s a tour.
