catfish and the bottlemen are one of those bands that writes the same song over and over again but that one song is pretty damn good to me. I think they were the last act I saw before covid-19 screwed everything. would see again for sure it was a blast
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Two Shell. The music is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the tracks will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also their nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- their personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these tracks, to realise that they're not just melodic- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Two Shell truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the beauty in Two Shell's existential song "✨ mum is calling ✨," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Two Shell's genius wit unfolds itself on their headphones. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Two Shell tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

Reading paid them Coachella headliner money. They would barely get a slot on Outdoor at 5pm if they were lucky here. Why play at all for pennies.

They need to get the lineup out, lineup is finished. It’s going to come tomorrow first thing in the AM. Gonna get posted all day, and everyone will go into the long weekend with nothing but time to talk with their friends
Presale / tickets on Monday. With a lot of people off work on Monday, there is plenty of time to buy tickets
Lineup will drop tomorrow AM because a lot of the festivals that announced go on sale.. need to get the lineup out to people before they financially commit to something more local

The thought of Paul Toilet delaying the lineup so that he can plant fake leaks with perimeter dwellers to see who runs with it on Inforoo is perfection.
He doesn't have all the fakes memorized so when he gets a nibble on a bit of an arcane one like Avenged Sevenfold he needs to have an intern check his spreadsheet to see who he fed it to.
