If Odesza is there next year I don’t see them being a headliner. Either a big name sub, or the returning to the desert slot if they continue doing that. More because they are already at every other fest this year. And with CFG back, I don’t see Tyler at Coachella, unless he waits to debut his new album for Coachella.

Flog Gnaw is a Goldenvoice event....
Supre I’m pretty sure they’re saying GV won’t book Tyler as a Coachella headliner unless the album debuts at Coachella. As in Tyler plays CFG, then releases the album afterwards and plays Coachella. Nothing to do with competing promoters.
Kendrick and Odesza are not headlining Coachella next year. I'd say about 0% chance. Unless there's some last minute situation, and even then.
You can put Taylor at 0% too. My guess is this tour she's on doesn't end for over a year, and it would be a waste of time for her to do Coachella in the middle of it.
Also a Dua headline is so fucking boring, at least put her on Saturday don't let her play unopposed. Y'all so thirsty for her at the fields. Do better.

Well if Rolling Loud LA takes away 75% of any possible rappers from even being at the festival then what are their options anyway. They werent concerned with Travis having headlined Day n Vegas in 2019 to then having him headline 2020. So Tyler doing Flog Gnaw isnt totally going to remove him from contention since at this point its one show.

Tyler has never performed Call Me If You Get Lost at Flog Gnaw which leads me to believe that there's no album coming before it.
He also has always dropped every other year, and considering he dropped a deluxe and it doesn't seem like there's a new album on the horizon, it would line up perfectly for him to debut his new album/era at Coachella

This Dua slander shall not stand
Saw the beginning of her set and it wasnt that interesting. She's not the most dynamic performer. Plus she only has 2 albums- maybe a 3rd by next april

im hoping he does the full album and b sides with an encore of 1 song from each of igor, flower boy, wolf and goblin. but yea i think if he has an album coming out and wants to debut a new live show, hes doing it at coachella

Throw out some names!
Tyler, rage, Madonna all seem plausible. U2 is probably the biggest legacy act that's never been on the fields- would kill for that. Nas and Wu Tang are on tour together right now. maybe the two of them together would stack up well? Blur is back, maybe them? I think Future or Nicki could fit that slot, for better or worse. I'd love some kind of missy Elliott/timbaland situation even though that's more of a pipe dream. Especially if Nelly furtado is involved. Maybe Paramore? I'd also be down with tame coming back if he has a new album coming out, but I know that's a little divisive. At least his live show is stellar, and fit for the fields.
Then there's talk of a new Dre and Snoop album....

Rihanna would also be a huge get. Maybe Shakira- fits the legacy and international boxes.
Doja cat has a new album out and they could tap her. Maybe not much of a better pick than dua, but at least she has more music out, and balances out her pop/r and b tracks with hip hop (get into it, tia Tamara, etc). She's certainly big enough.
- Dua Lipa - Foo Fighters - Kendrick Lamar - Lana Del Rey - Madonna - Metallica - Odesza - Shakira - SZA - Taylor Swift - Tyler, The Creator - Rage Against The Machine - Rihanna

Even Coldplay would fit. Not my top choice, and I'd probably check them out and dip pretty quickly if there was counter programming. I'd also be into green day headlining

you're naming a lot of acts that wouldn't headline Coachella
