Relistening to Igor…Tyler’s an okay rapper, but excellent producer.
I think he’s a subpar rapper, but yeah, the production is very solid. Listening to his songs I often wish there were other vocalists/rappers on them instead of Tyler.
I would love a full album of Tyler just being the producer with featured vocalists on every track
I think his rap skills are solid when he chooses to really rap, pretty solid story teller. Like on Wilshire, Heaven To Me, etc. He has a good natural voice for rap, but yeah the bars aren't going to be anything spectacular.
Currently at Alter Ego doing press stuff. The Black Keys are the first act tonight and the arena is very much not full.

No. Typical radio fest thing nowadays. You get one of the larger acts to go on early so that everyone comes to the venue first thing and doesnt come late. The 1975 played at 8:45 which is prime time. The Last Dinner Party just played cause they didnt want them to play to an empty arena and lose any push/hype theyre trying to get.

A. It's real (which I doubt)
B. It's a real screenshot but he overreacted to a mock (which could mean that Doja Cat isn't playing if he reacted this way)
or C. The screenshot itself is fake and shopped
I'm leaning towards C lol.
I could def see it being B as well, I do think Doja was offered and had it taken away. So if the manager was already upset, ran into a mock and saw "oh they dropped Doja for the Spice Girls??" And posted it lol

Just noticed Kynda Black is on there who works with Framework. He retired that name and now goes by Minus The Light which is just another giveaway that this is fake.

I mean they just let today run its course and then just spliced together a few extra things and thats all it takes. If they had cut back on repeats and just put artists nobody would pay any mind to it would seem too real.
Avenged are huge fans of the fest & culture. Also a few of them live in La Quinta and attend when they can, so I wouldn't be surprised if they just would like to play the fest just as fans honestly & branch out of the standard rock circuit.
I've was looking at that new "leaked" poster, and felt parts of it looked familiar.....they took sections of artists / placements from my final mock, replaced some artist names and made a new one that nobody has seen yet I guess?
For instance, Friday has 'Kevin Abstract • Tokischa • Anyma • Kavinsky • Barry Can't Swim' at the end of the 4th line, just like my poster had (except on Sunday). They also have 'Indigo De Souza • Samia • Mdou Moctar' at the end of the 6th line in the same order I do.
They also included Thugshells, a rapper friend of mine from Canada, who I had also put on my poster.....and I can promise you she is not playing lol
