After getting back from SBTRKT, would love to see him again on the fields next year. Dream scenario of Sampha, Jessie Ware, and Little Dragon all also being on the lineup and can sing their parts.
interesting trend in the billboard hot 100 & 200. will this materialize in anyway in future coachella lineups? underground rap is fine and still killing it but it feels as if there's been a drought of rap superstars in the 2020s compared to the 2010s.

Think it’s overblown. No big rappers really came out besides Don Toliver and a decreasing Lil Durk. Also most the year was controlled by Morgan Wallen as country is having a moment. If it goes the full year I’ll think it means something
2010s rappers still have a strong hold on the genre. Kendrick, Drake, Tyler, Cole, Future etc are all still as relevant as ever. The biggest names of the "new gen" are Lil Baby (subbed already and hasn't taken headliner steps imo), Playboi Carti (Possibly in the future), NBA Youngboy (super popular but probably maxes out at 3rd on his day). But the wave that came with rappers who blew up in the early 2010s was special and shouldn't be expected to happen again

Cancel culture country you mean. And Wallen is drinking himself i to oblivion so thatll sort itself out.
Thinking about camping next year. How worth it is preferred? Price is almost 2.5x standard car camping. Would like to block 4 spots together and make it as comfortable/glampy as possible for my wife & friends. I'd say the biggest issue would be noise esp. after hours - is that any less or more of an issue in preferred? (I've camped a bunch but not since 2017.)

I personally don't think preferred is worth it. That's where the serial pooper strikes!
But for real, I feel like you have a lot more foot traffic and people cutting through camps in the preferred lot so I don't mind getting lot 5 or 4 or even parts of 10.

Hmmm. Honestly depends. With regular camping there's just no telling where your spot will be. One year I got an excellent spot (even though I got there at 9pm Thursday) and the next year my spot was as far back as possible from the entrance and I got there way earlier than the previous year lol. With preferred it's at least guaranteed that you're close. If that matters to you of course
If I want to try my luck in both the general and the AmEx queues, do I need two accounts?
Amex was available 10 months after the initial onsale last year so I wouldn't worry about trying two different queues. There won't be a single person who wants a ticket for face that won't be able to buy one today.
