The better question is how do they book the lead up on the main stage to a Taylor headlining set, considering how poorly Tyler and Haim fared pre-Beyonce.
There's a blueprint: ask the headliner. I think Paramore would really be good to be the sub since ya know, Hayley is on the next re release. There had been talk about Taylor's day at glastonbury in 2020 having all female artists on the Pyramid so why not run with that and do it. Easy to even let Taylor curate since the acts she has as support this tour could play the fest and most havent. Paramore, Sabrina Carpenter, Gayle, Gracie Abrahms. Ice Spice somewhere in there too.
I don't think Frank is going to effect how they schedule more reliable artists. Someone as big as Taylor, without a history of being late or canceling or putting out lazy performance? Wouldn't doubt every other stage is silent for her set.
I think they prob got a ton of survey responses and saw lots of reaction after Frank to consider it. A bunch of people were pissed tf off that despite frank being late you didnt have much choice as to what you could do. If a headliner isnt to your liking why do you have 2 options or you leave the fest? I think it was worse because it was Sunday and you were going home after dealing with that.
The IDM/OG Coachella acts in my dream / bucket list are coming with new music or RTTD or appearing at the Polo Fields for the first time too in 2024, right? So I might take a peek or will be back in January 2024 during the reveal after all lol. I regret not pulling the trigger or not securing my W2 passes as well. I have a hotel room booked and car camping pass, or at least, I will be at the Coachella Valley.

PS mind-blown that I missed Sigur Ros finally released their new album too last week, just maybe the greatest of pop, alternative, Brit-Pop, shoegaze, indie and IDMs will be (back) there for 2024, just for me lol … seeing some new music or outside the radius clause movements too hehe, Sufjan Stevens, Damien Rice and Jose Gonzalez get on it too!
*I mean, ready for the worst as I will be there with or without all of them there 😂.

*^ Okay, since PT/GV already saw them lol. I am deleting those SPAM Glastonbury 2023 BBC YT videos. Those are not necessarily a wish list as there would be way too many who are similar and will be available for 2024.
The Leftfield’s set at the Glastonbury 2023 BBC Music livestream was earth shaking and breathtaking. Pretty sure, at the Polo Fields, GV/PT would give me some nice rebuttals/equivalents aka Coachella grooves with Aphex Twin, Bicep, Max Cooper, Brian Eno, Royksopp, Burial, Orbital, Jon Hopkins and Slowdive appearances all set in 2024.

Yeah, her hype team train can’t make a single misstep and it better be great so she can make it at the very top of next year’s poster else she might be after all under RATM in the second line and no all women headliners like what I am predicting.

No because she's already been a successful arena tourer, headliner, and can play 75-90 minutes of old material outside of a new album if its a total flop
They didn't book Billie Eilish on her second album until Frank pushed to 2023 and it was clear the second album wasn't going to flop, and she's bigger than OR
Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS is going to be either a flop by her debut album standards or going to break more records. Quickly checking some best selling albums lists including Billboard 200 that puts her now 2 years old debut album at #2 for 2021 and still #8 in 2022. Not sure how accurate and updated these lists but I also saw another list that also included Sour in the top 10 best selling album of the current year, 2023.
Having said that, it will be an understatement that Olivia Rodrigo’s sophomore album is/will be one of the most anticipated albums of 2023. Maybe, give and take worldwide or in the end, Bilie Eillish and Olivia Rodrigo’s debut album will have about the same total albums sales no matter which ways you count them. But in the end, Olivia Rodrigo is the one who broke Lady Gaga’s record on any debut album having spent more than 150 weeks or so at the top 10. It can only take at least 4 consecutive weeks or 5 non-consecutive weeks by year-end for OR’s GUTS to hit #1 for GV/PT to get convinced. It better be really great before I officially hop on that OR’s hype train. Let’s see if she or her album GUTS can go all the way at the top of best selling album of 2023 (which Billie Eillish sophomore album can’t do against TS, BTS, Adele, The Weeknd(?), Bad Bunny and Drake’s(?) recent albums).

Even Billie had done a few tours before she even did Coachella her first time. Everyone now expects a new artist to be a headliner within 2 years which is just dumb.
She was at Glastonbury 2022 performing at the other greatest festival in the world right now, live on one of their biggest pop/rock stage, not at some kind of kid’sh theatrical play. And she did it successfully. Not saying she is guaranteed headlining but let’s see who will be the ballsy ones or the dumb ones if they actually do it. I am just saying, I mean you all never really see it coming that TS could possibly do it as soon as next year. Same with PT/GV- they can or May take the risk with them betting with her this early especially if Taylor Swift is lock-in to play as well. If GUTS becomes hugely successful and TS not playing in 2024, she will be at the second line only. Or right, take it easy and slow, 2025 is it for them.
Hasn’t Olivia been declared an enemy of the state by the Swifties or something? She can only play the music festival equivalent of being exiled to Belarus.
