This is interesting. If Zach Bryan plays, he's no further than a 2 and he's probably a headliner. I'm not sure how this translates to Coachella but he got over a million for some festival plays in the south this year. Do we think Gorillaz got a mil for being a two? I have no idea so I'm curious. They said Frank was gonna get 4 per weekend, yeah?
$4 mil per weekend has been the standard payday since maybe 2015 with Ac/Dc and Drake. Is Zach Bryan a headliner just cause he is demanding it and Paul caved or..... I dont mind if he plays at all, I just think maybe everyones assuming the overbilling cause its commonplace now. Like we think the Stagecoach people are gonna just scramble to Indio a week prior?
I fully anticipate Coach having the most country they've booked in a single year, but I don't see them having a country headliner.. yet. But I think it will happen within the next few years. I feel like the boom in Country popularity (in markets that don't typically love country) is similar to Reggaeton in 2018/2019, Balvin/Bunny were probably big enough by the numbers to headline 2019, Certainly pulling the largest streaming/concert numbers out of any artist at Coachella 2019 besides Ariana Grande, but Coachella probably needed to see some sustainability before committing to the genre as a headliner slot.
I think we will get multiple names on the 2nd line, maybe even a name top 3 on their day, and if Country's popularity boom sustains, we will get a Country artist as a headliner within the next couple years.

I know CoS and their "sources" are controversial here, but Jerry Harrison just dumped a gallon of gasoline on the TH reunion potential on their podcast.
“I think it’s been a somewhat of a healing experience for everybody,” Harrison added. “It’s like, ‘Yeah, we actually can work together and do this.’ On DB: “It also [helped him], let bygones be bygones, because why waste our time on these petty complaints from the past?

Sorry I know we are all tired of talking about him possibly headlining, but Travis Scott not only sold out his tour, he sold it out charging $400 for SEATS. How tf are teenagers affording these tickets?
I know it was 7 years ago, but I remember Kanye GA floor tickets were RESELLING for ~$250-$400 when he came to town on his Saint Pablo tour. Travis is charging that AT FACE and its not even floor. I thought my ticketmaster was glitched out when I was looking at seats yesterday.

The tour isnt sold out. And credit cards are a thing. How else do you think swifties got their overpriced resale tix.

Well I guess now that he added more dates it isn't, but it was yesterday.

if Bicep is playing Snowbombing on the 8th - 10th couldn't they still play coachella on the 12th - 14th? wasn't there some crossover last year since last year and this year the dates aren't a complete overlap like previous years?

There is an overlap this year though. They're probably playing during the weekend if they're being announced this early as a headliner.
Is there any chance Coachella tries for The Rolling Stones again?
I think 10 years ago it wouldve been much more effective with the audience compared now. Fleetwood Mac is potentially the one which the kids would flock to when it came to an old legacy/classic rock act
