Are the two top names each night together at Stubbs? UMO and Flylo together is going to melt my brain
Edit: whoops didn’t realize schedule was up already. Torn between the far out and concourse show for Friday. Definitely want Brian Jonestown and black angels Saturday and DFA1979 Sunday. Need to educate myself more on Thursday but OPN will be awesome so maybe that
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Have they done shows at the concourse project before? Sucks how far away that is
Don’t think so. They’ve added new venues every year so far. Concourse is too far away. You’re pretty much stuck there all night if you don’t want to miss a set.
Does a festival ticket guarantee entry to all shows? Are the venues relatively close to each other?
Yes. They differ on which ones give you ‘guaranteed access’. 4 day pass only gives you guaranteed access to hotel Vegas, Mohawk, empire, Stubbs and far out lounge. Deluxes guarantees all venues.
Concourse is the furthest along with Far Out. Mohawk, Empire, Elysium, and Stubbs are all within walking distance of each other. Hotel Vegas is a 20ish min walk or 5 min scooter ride.
sucks they got rid of the small shows early afternoon.
could see myself coming up Thursday or Friday especially if those OPN and Fly lo shows run til 2
Out by the airport. Definitely the most out of the way venue they have. Indoor warehouse venue that usually hosts only EDM but has started branching out and booking jamtronica too. Recently had a three night STS9 there

yeah it's pretty nuts it's more than Bonnaroo and they don't even pay for infrastructure and max out at Stubb's level acts and some of them don't even fill it
Paying for the weekend pass straight up makes no sense for this fest. At your very best/luckiest you make two shows a night. If I didn’t get my shit for free I couldn’t imagine. Pick one show a night you want and go to that

Can’t say enough about some of the local Austin bands for the out of towners. Annabelle Chairlegs, Die Spitz, Rickshaw Billie, Nolan Potter, money chicha. All great but I can’t help it I see Annabelle Chairlegs every hotel vegas show they have
