I lean sub on Queens. Sell out year with 3 bigger arena level headliners. I don’t think they take a step back and go theater act after that but who knows.
Weezer plays every festival and is always around, but if they were to do the Blue Album for the 30th anniversary that'd be pretty sweet.
The only weezer song I’ve heard live is their cover of Africa. I’d like to keep it that way.
if weezer is on the lineup you’ll find me n cum at whatever set they’re playing against and if they’re headlining then you’ll find us getting the fuck out of there

Weezer? More like well ok there’s nothing else going on right now so i guess i gotta pee and then I might get something to eat and then maybe enjoy a beverage somewhere

QOTSA seemingly confirmed with a date on Thurs May 2, 2024 in Raleigh, NC. Now the discussion begins on if they headline. I think so but they're def a step down in popularity from this years trio.
QOTSA went from headlining to pre headlining at RF.
Hey, for transparency sake, I made an alternate account, as my other account had personal information in it, and someone a while back used it to find me on another social media platform and used it to harass myself and my wife. I didn’t realize that alt accounts were frowned upon. Druid was kind enough to explain, and I will no longer be using my old account going forward.

I’ll be disappointed if they headline based upon the level of last years trio. Seems like they would settle in as a strong 2nd. They were not a headliner at Louder than Life on Sunday either. Of course we could get an obviously massive headliner on another day to offset.

I am surprised we haven’t talked about Blink more tho. Seems perfect for the fest but I think a lot of the pop punk nostalgia has ran its course. Stevie would be disappointing only bc she headlined Roo last year and has been to Atlanta a few times in the last few years.

I say blink because I have to imagine they’ll be doing a tour/fest circuit next year after the new album drops. I say Blur, because I think it would be a good fit for shaky and they haven’t announced dates for next year as far as I know. Stevie was my wild card. She didn’t play the year she was booked, and skips ATL for her tour next year.

Blur would get me to this (or anywhere, really) but that's not going to happen, unfortunately.

Yeah Blur doesn’t have much general appeal here. They would probably draw just as much as a big sub but would be HL money. It just doesn’t seem profitable for either side.
Foo Fighters- QOTSA- Weezer Blink 182- Paramore - Noah Kahan The Cure- Postal Service- DCFC
I feel like there’s a good chance we get either blink, Fall Out Boy, or Paramore headlining. Shaky seems to be loving them some 2000s rock icons especially pop punkish with Green Day and The Killers.

right, they don't really make sense for any USA fests at this point. best hope is that they do a few shows here in NYC/LA like they did back in 2015.
