Idk if it has anything to do with Coachella or not but I know another fest that normally announces in November or December that just got word it would be January before announcing. Could see the same being in play for SK.
The Stones alone are prob double Shaky’s entire budget
It was a devil's advocate type question. I get it would skyrocket ticket prices and kill the rest of the lineup, which would suck since that's always been the heart of Shaky anyway.

The Stones are so expensive that Jazz Fest had to add an extra day that wasn’t included in weekend passes in order to book them. I caught them in Dallas with my parents in the nosebleeds, and those were most expensive tickets they ever bought. Nosebleeds for them costed more than row 2 for Elton John.

I'm having trouble imaging Coachella and SK sharing a main headliner outside of someone like RATM or Pearl Jam (RHCP and Blur already mentioned, and I'm not buying Blur for either). Does Coachella even book rock headliners anymore?
I get it. He’s got a lot of insider info though. I’m just wondering why he would post on the Shaky subreddit. I don’t think he’s ever posted there, and hasn’t been active in many other subs.

he just likes the attention of people begging him for scoops

he’s on C3s payroll. He’s basically just an official fest outlet.

Thanksgiving Day is a strange day to drop the lineup, but I'll take it over waiting until the next week.
Though honestly, if that Kilby Block Party lineup actually has Jai Paul, Joanna Newson, Wu-Tang Clan, Yves Tumor, etc... on it I'll probably end up doing that over Shaky unless the lineup really impresses me.

I like that lineup too. For me, Shaky is a better bet, as I have the tattoo, got a free hotel, and have friends that go. If the lineup is good, I’ll prob spring for VIP this year.

remember when he said the Bonnaroo dates would be announced on Halloween and he was wrong? Seems like he’s just hyping up nothing again.
