Something to keep in mind is that some acts share managers. For example, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead/The Smile, and Nick Cave all work with the same guy. If we get one of them on the lineup, then it establishes a working relationship and makes appearances from the other artists more likely in the future.

NIN, Foos, and St. Vincent all work with the same guy. This would explain why they’ve all appeared in the last few years and why NIN replaced Foos at a few festivals last year. QOTSA is with them too, which would explain their inclusion this year.

What’s the website that listed a bunch of artists who were playing shaky a few days before lineup release last year or the year before? Shaky Knees was listed under dates for the artists.

Figured they would have announced already if that was the case, haven't kept up with the thread. Could still be Phoebe solo
it's the opposite actually. No other festival can announce acts shared w Coachella before they do. If we share any acts with them, they'll be late adds.

That's what I'm saying. If it doesn't come this week I'm inclined to believe they have to wait for Coachella cause they share a major act

Not that Damon can't do both, but Blur will probably do a handful of shows this year and Gorillaz did a pretty extensive tour in 22 and they're not gonna do a one-off so I kinda have a hard time thinking they'll play. I guess you could say the same thing for AM too, international one offs are harder to get and I'm not sure what festivals or cities they would play outside of SK.

Owl already confirmed it's coming this week. Presumably Wednesday

Do I really need more than 60 minutes of QOTSA? I plan to dive into their catalog once the lineup comes out, but do they have that many deep cuts that would end up on the cutting room floor of a 60 min set that I would miss?
