I’m in the same ship. It’s a 6 hour drive for me. I’m reaching out to my mate who works at the local Hard Rock to see if we can get say Interpol or Royal Blood. Foos and Arcade Fire are likely at Jazz Fest anyway, and that’s a much closer drive.

Upon first glance without any research. Excited for: Arcade Fire, Metric, Yves Tumor, Porn Crumpets, Pond, Pigsx7, Weezer, Queens, SDRE, Chicano Batman, Microwave, Billy Idol, Dino Jr. Men I Trust, Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby, Nova Twins Five or six acts a day ain't bad. I've also only seen 4 of those so that's even better. Gonna have to do a lot of research for Sat though bc I don't really know anyone after Microwave besides Blondshell.

That’s how I’m looking at it too. There are multiple artists each day I’d be happy to see. Bummer that the headliners are lazy, but the rest of the day should make up for it.

I've never heard that but not saying it's not true. She went all out a few years ago and played everywhere but then calmed down to just play a few festivals.
She's also a single Mom and I can absolutely understand how she doesn't love touring.
Undercard is really strong imo. Multiple artists each day I wanna see. Itll be my first time seeing Queens so that’s cool. Foos and Weezer always put on good shows, but it’s the same every time. Was fully planning on going VIP, but not too sure now. Anyone with experience know if it’s worth it if the headliners aren’t what’s most important?
we’ve recently overhauled the setlist. playing a lot more pinkerton and a few fun deep cuts. i am the greatest man who ever lived.
