Makes sense. If they get a 1:30 set, the blue album is only like 40 min long, so they can deff fit that in its entirety and a bunch of other material too.
Just make it a Blue/Pinkerton double set. F*ck it
Pinkerton tracks live>Blue. Getting a kitchen tape demo track or two would be cool for the anniversary. Also hoping Arcade Fire puts Her Comes the Nighttime back into their set.

Here comes the nighttime is probably my favorite AF song so I completely agree with this
Ok folks, need some help as someone who does not frequent ATL/is a first time Shaky Knees goer and is taking someone who has never been to a major festival before:
1. What’s the parking situation like? Is it better to Uber there?
2. Were the food options abundant and considerable, and was it affordable?
3. For late night show people, how early would someone need to be at one to get a good spot?

1. There's not a lot of parking directly nearby but there are parking garages about a 10-15 minute walk away. Uber will be rough leaving. Either park and walk or take MARTA. There's a stop about ten minutes from the entrance. 2. There's a lot of food options. They're mostly all in one spot, which is right in the middle. I wouldn't really say they're affordable but they don't seem any more expensive than any other festival or sporting event. 3. Kind of depends on the venue. Usually if you leave before the headliner ends you shouldn't have any trouble getting there and getting a good spot. Ask this again once you know which show you're considering.

Masquerade lines tend to be a shit show in my experience... if you end up going there just leave very early

If you are going to get there early (before 130/2p) you can find parking a couple of blocks away, but it fills up quickly. If you are planning on drinking/partying just take Marta if you aren't going to a late night show
I had a blast at Ponce Sat afternoon with Rickshaw -> Shame -> JV&B.
Does anyone see anything on the lineup that could potentially rival that this year?
Oh hey I was at Shame -> JV&B. That was fun. I think I went to Cafune instead of Rickshaw though.
Still making my way through the lineup but potentials:
Friday: Pigs x7 -> Pond -> All Them Witches -> Psychedelic Porn Crumpets -> Yves Tumor / Arcade Fire (This is just a guess at the order) Saturday: Miike Snow, Offspring, Royal Blood, and Queens of the Stone Age might all have a bit of chaos/energy Sunday: ...I'll get back to you on that.
Schedule is gonna kill me this year. Can’t wait to see what aftershows they have to clear up conflicts. Afraid either Pond or PPC are gonna be late night against someone big. Feel im gonna have conflicts with Dinosaur Jr. and Miike Snow on their days. Can’t tell if either are gonna be on a big stage daytime or a late night small stage against someone billed above them.

Man that Friday is ridiculously stacked. I'd want to see almost every name on there, ironically just not Noah Kahan lol. Would have been nice to switch some of it to Saturday.

I think Kahan is closer to Mumford live than Lumineers. This probably doesn’t mean anything to a lot of you but I think he’s more lively and fun than a lot of that genre.

I like Mumford and Lumineers (even though we skipped them last year). I wasn’t that into Kahan on SNL.
re: Noah Kahan - I won't lie, I wasn't a fan of the Lumineers or their set at all, but Noah Kahan's won me over. Definitely giving me Mumford & Sons vibes. I'll sing along with the zoomers, haha.

VERY MUCH the same afraid of Pond/PPC. The ideal lineup for me on Friday would allow me to see Arcade Fire, Interpol, Yves Tumor, All Them Witches, Pond, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, All Them Witches, Pigs x7 and Winona Fighter with no conflicts. Of those, I'm expecting at least 3 conflicts. Biggest ones I'm hoping are Interpol/AF/PPC at different times.

With the exception of Yves Tumor, you and I are basically in the same boat on Friday. I want to see all those same acts.

I'm like 90% sure All Them Witches and All Them Witches are gonna be playing at the same time, sorry bud
