Gotta get in the cardio somehow, my guy. For real though, this is one where it won't go like this, and I'll decide day of.
I amy the wrong person to ask about how feasible a schedule is (my brother and I will be running all over creation) but this playlist should hopefully help with research! The artist bios on their website are a lot more detailed and helpful than most other fests as well

garageland permanently banned me from determining if a walk was or was not acceptable after I almost killed him one year. I'll do some looking later and see if I can do some more objective research on it.

The KMA is permanently off my list unless Kali Malone is playing.

I’m nixing KCA already because the walk is like 20 minutes from some of the other venues.

It’s not the going that hurts, it’s the coming back uphill.

See you at brunch!
This is the one I found.
I know I didn't really "do" anything but it is kinda fun that a playlist I made has 300+ faves

As promised, here is an objective listing of walk times from each venue to each venue. I included everything they had on the website plus the Pilot Light since people might hit up there too. I just ran it through Google maps. For garageland's sake, this does not take into account elevation change.
Fun statistics: Longest average walk: KMA (16.63 minutes). Unfortunately for some, the Civic Auditorium came in a close second (15.69 minutes). Shortest average walk: UT Downtown Gallery (7.31 minutes) followed closely by Vistor Center (7.75 minutes) and Jackson Terminal with 7.81 minutes) Longest walk: The Point to the Civic Auditorium (25 minutes) Shortest walk: Tie between Jig and Reel to Pilot Light and East TN Historical Society to Tennessee Theatre (1 minute)

I did some of this on my own but you made it way more nerdy. Thanks. My biggest issue is going from SGM to Herbie to Shabaka. It seems like too much so my alternate going to Armand Hammer instead, which isn’t a bad backup.

That's how it goes sometimes. I would have liked to make Kurt Vile or Adrianne Lenker fit into my Thursday some how, but the Civic Auditorium is just too out of the way.

I listened to Sleepytime Gorilla Museum for the first time in a while, and they move up the priority because I like them even more than I remember. This is causing me to rethink my entire Saturday night as I have seen JG Thirlwell and Bonnie "Prince" Billy before. If I give up on trying to run up for them, I can check out Bar Italia or Armand Hammer which I have never seen. Add to that, the What For lineup should come out today or tomorrow, so I can't fully finalize anything until then.

You should definitely go to SGM. Also listen to Secret Chiefs 3 if you haven’t done that in a while.

Agreed. SGM and go with Armand Hammer. When I saw bar italia they were pretty sleepy. Granted it was 4 AM but I just wanted to go to sleep listening to them.
Ok. On to the important stuff. Where we eatin and what day works for everyone?
If you dig on swine there's a new spot called humble hog and it's legit. They smoked everything, including the seafood. It's crazy good but probably not the best for a big group. They may have a big table in the back, I dunno. Might just be a good stop through the weekend. It's across from the visitors center so very nice locale for this. What are your parameters for brunch?

Thinking it’s a smaller group this year, honestly. Probably under 10 pending on if anyone brings anyone (which everyone is welcome).
I’m cool with any day honestly. My first must see Saturday is at like 2:30 and 1:30 on Sunday.
