We adopted a cat a few months ago, her name is Wilma but I love calling her anything and everything else.
We do that here, as well. Ziggy is also referred to as Sir Meowsalot or The Dude, and his brother Elton is alternately known as Lord Scratchindoor. And my pup, Birdie is variously called Butters (her birth parents called her that), Birdelia, Robirda, and Nerdy, as well as some things I don't repeat in polite company.
