New Order always seems like the safest bet. Not against doing shorter sets, doesn’t charge extremely high for tickets and still one of the most coveted acts of the era.

I don't know when the last time Camouflage performed in the US but they postponed all their 2023 dates to fall of 2024 and I'd love to hear Love is a Shield and The Great Commandment live. Maybe they are better suited for the 2025 lineup though.
The Cure would be the perfect headliner but probably too big for what they are going for
No idea if he has any touring plans anytime soon but David Byrne would be cool
Considering that The Cure is in San Diego tomorrow their tour routing pretty much screamed they were in contention to play.
I wonder if Riot overpayed to get them as an exclusive? They sure would look nice at the top of this year's poster. Plus, Robert could have guested with Siouxsie.
Then again, 5 socal dates probably always meant they weren't playing.

Riot prob overpayed anyway cause The Cure are in Chicago in a couple weeks already. And the easy way to get around that is to have announced Riot next week after CW had happened. The thing here though is that even without The Cure, the fest sold out. If Sick New World happens again thats going to take out a bunch of artists yet again.
Gonna need a solid lineup to justify going again. This year felt pretty lackluster.
Wishlist: The Cure, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, My Bloody Valentine, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Sisters of Mercy, Soft Cell, Model/Actriz, Just Mustard

Ian Curtis wasn't available so they had to phone Paul Banks instead!
But yeah this is fun. I don't think I'd pay full price for it (JAMC still on my bucket list though) but I won't say no if some deals and giveaways pop up.
Pretty cool Model/Actriz and The Faint are on this line up. So many Cruel World/Just Like Heaven repeats though. Gonna keep my eye out for resale last second. I’d love to see Duran Duran play The Chauffeur.
