Lankum and PJ Harvey both 10/10 gigs got absolutely soaked during PJ, rain just didnt want to stop, so missed Mitski and SZA now and that was it for me this year

Only caught three Charli songs, bummed she ended twenty mins early. No regrets going to Roisin though, an absolute dance party, phenomenal set. Teared up at Lankum.
The thing I do appreciate the most about this festival is that nearly all of my favorite sets were from artists I was really not expecting to be in my top (which isn’t to say others were bad). I’ll of course have my write up but Princess Superstar? Slow Pulp? Mabe Fratti? Stella Maris? Desire? Random krautrock band we saw at a Pro showcase at 3 PM? Did not see any of them coming.
So I'm assuming everyone who went thought it was worth the time and expense?
I may have missed one but I saw 61 bands this week lol
One member of the party won't be 18, so we can't hit those levels. I think we could do as much as any of them would want though. Figure to do a couple tourist days around the festival.
their show in Chicago basically sold out during the presale....
i was surprised too when i saw a post abt it but apparantly only NYC, Chicago, LA and Boston have sold out. all the gay cities lmao. the rest are doing rather poorly
