I thought Glitch Mob were surprisingly really good at Okee 2021. It was all pretty fast D&B until the last 15 mins and then it was pretty boring. Right before they got real snoozy one of them mentioned that that set was unique and they didn’t usually play stuff like that.
I always wondered if I was right in thinking they were good given how many people shit on them but given what Marketdown has draft and has tried to draft, I feel even more confident in my assessment that it was good.

I showed up for a Glitch Mob set after listening to their work and got something entirely different. If you show up to a Deadmau5 show and get him playing his Test Pilot stuff, you might be a little frustrated too. The dnb itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t announced they were trying something new, or different, or something besides their actual sound. I wish I could go back and listen to it expecting their usual work.
