Films have gotten so inaudible to the point that you almost need subtitles to read/hear what people are saying, I feel like directors do it on purpose.
My pet peeve is when two characters are whispering for no reason. This goes for a lot of old movies too. They're not talking about anything very secretive and nobody is around. Speak up!

I was thinking for a while I didn’t genuinely have any hot takes suited for this thread but then I realized I’ve been staring at the Pitchfork lineup for 3 weeks debating if I should sell my ticket because indie music has gotten way too soft and boring.

LOL imagine being a sound engineer and having to record whispers, and figure out EXACTLY what gain vs volume you use to pick up the *hush hush hush* audio. They forget to project because sound is usually the lowest totem pole on the media-making field. And as a lower tier member, unless it's a large project, you can't tell talent to increase their voice or you get yelled at by the AD, Director, or Producers.

When Bird tried to first gorilla drop 500 scooters on Richmond, the city rounded them up by the end of the day, dismantled them and distributed the parts to local bike parts stores for no reason. They kept the trackers and told Bird to come get them.
