Boss: tell the people we booked an artist we have given a 10
Social media intern: We booked Bjork, Neil Young, Fiona, Joni, Aphex Twin, PJ Harvey, or Pavement?!!
* silence*
Intern …right?
*silence*
Intern: well at least tell me we got Jeff Mills, The Flaming Lips, Brian Eno… maybe a Bowie hologram! Or even a controversial Van Morrison closing set?
Boss: how does a hip hop group with only a fraction of it’s members sound?
Was thinking about blurfan’s comment that Black Pumas is a big get for the XRT crowd and I think he’s right - this lineup is an interesting combination of a lineup Pitchfork would’ve booked 10 years ago and their more contemporary sensibilities. Black Pumas isn’t that far off from booking Morning Phase-era Beck. It’s just something they haven’t done in a long time.
Jessie Ware> CJR> Jamie is what dreams are made of
yeah this run + jai paul + sudan archives + seeing model/actriz with an elated garageland honestly might get me there this year. also fucking wednesdayyyy <3
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
What are the odds I could see Jamie, CRJ, Jessie, Unwound, Wednesday, feeble little horse, and Hotline TNT without conflicts
0%?
If they do go straight down on billing then Unwound is 7:45 Blue Stage closer. Cause no way is De La Soul not on anything less than Red or Green. Most like the 5:15 Red slot against Water For Your Eyes at the same time. So youll have a one conflict most likely.

heavily considering it.
second chances at seeing Model / Actriz with an elated garageland are not to be taken lightly

Underworld alone would get me here for a day at least. They were too good of a time the two times I’ve seen them to pass up.
Sorry but I don’t think you’re getting that. Can I interest you in the innovative conscious messaging of Grandmaster Flash’s 1982 hit “The Message” instead?
Does Pitchfork do “All In” pricing or will there be fees? I’ve Googled and can’t find anything so I assume there are fees.
I have about $450 sitting in my festival funds and thinking I may just take the plunge on VIP. I’m positive that I’ll be at the Blue most of the time but the added food/drinks/water and lockers kinda help actually. I’d spend $300 in just those alone and having it paid for up front would be nice.
