Brandi Carlile feature on the new Miley Cyrus album? She’s of similar popularity (just glancing at streams at least) to LDR. Would seem like a much less out of left field booking what with her Brandi/Dolly associations and country adjacent career.

Was looking through the Artist signs up for auction from this year's fest. Why/where did they have a Tyler Childers sign? At the Blues Cafe? I saw they had a signed Shadrach Boggs one, so it seemed weird they would have both. Kind of surprised the Isbell one is the highest bid at the moment

They didn’t use signs on the stages this year. Those signs may have been created just for the auction.
A few were probably created on site for special guests: The Muppets and James Taylor also had signs for auction.
Noah wasn’t on site to sign, so probably didn’t auction off a sign (if had been created in advance; if they were all created on site then it may not have even been created).

Oh that's interesting they didn't have the signs on the stages. I guess I just assumed the signs were created at the beginning of the day or shortly before, but that may not be the case.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I think someone already mentioned Dropkick Murphys but to expand on that: Two consecutive albums of Woody Guthrie lyrics, with multiple features from folk fest alums. A New England staple who as far as I can tell who has never played the fest. Seems like an ideal candidate for that midday, Quad Rocker spot that Hold Steady played this year.

Seems like a no brainer. My guess is that it hasn’t happened because every tour of theirs is anchored around big Boston shows. Hoping that it might happen during an off album tour cycle.

new Tyler Childers dates makes me think he's headlining. Only New England date is Maine, and then he's got a break in the Canadian leg of his tour where he plays in Ontario July 11 and doesn't pick back up until Calgary on August 6. Also have a feeling that portends him for Lollapalooza.

Does anyone have the list of guests at the 2016 Your Song Changed My Life aftershow? I'm making a concert spreadsheet many years too late and my memory is failing me. I remember Ryan Adams and Nathaniel Rateliff. Beyond that I think I'm blending other aftershows in my mind.
I have really been liking the Norah Jones is Playing Along podcast, a live recording with special guest(s) as an aftershow or a Quad set could be really cool.
On a separate note, I love this message board. You all bring such broad knowledge of music and it has introduced me to so many new artists. With that I have created a playlist based on many (but not all) of the bands listed as recommendations here. It has already helped me through one gym session (*though some of these bands are certainly not gym music.)
