Action Bronson is also not that good, just has a cool voice.
I once got trucked by his 400 pound ass and three of their body guards, maybe 300-350 each moving side x side through the crowd at Voodoo. There was nothing I could do - like star wars garbage dump with the walls closing. One of those nice gentlemen extended a hand to help me up though seeing as they were the ones who bulldozed me standing in the audience.
early Paul Wall was punching way above his weight class and had legit hits. he's funny and has a fun style. his late career is very mid but so is Ems and he doesn't take it as seriously. and it's not like Mac's mid career was that great.

were you at that Welcome To Houston set at D4N? whole show was awesome but a highlight was when Paul Wall zipped out on stage, dude has a specific charisma that's hard not to like.
like you said he always is having fun and joking around, but he himself isn't a joke cause he has the chops.
Paul Wall is horrendous but he has, or has contributed to quite a few bangers. That was more than I could say for most of this competition.
Action Bronson is "good," but he's contributed nothing unique to this world.
lol
Bronson is okay. This isn't who is the best rapper, it's who is your favorite rapper (least favorite for now). He was okay in **** That's Delicious the first couple of seasons but Action Bronson and Friends watch Ancient Aliens might be one of the dumbest shows I've encountered the last few years. I realize it's supposed to be, but it's about as low-hanging as Vice could get. Apparently people liked that show for whatever reason. The actual series was contrived and ridiculous.

If this was "best artist" I think El P should easily win since he's fully produced more good to great projects than the rest of the remaining list combined, and the driving force of all those projects is the production. But since it says White Rapper...
1. Eminem - 4 good to great albums. Contributes to other stone cold classic songs like Renegade, Forgot about dre, Whats the Difference, Dead Wrong, Patiently Waiting. A ton of really hilarious diss tracks. Best at rapping on the list by far and not just from a lyrical myrical standpoint but just legitimately the most entertaining and enjoyable to listen to in his prime of anyone remaining by a wide margin.I think his rapping performance on MMLP could have an argument for the greatest ever in the genre. That still doesn't mean it's one of my top 30 favorite albums, but still very noteworthy.
2. El P - 7 good to great albums that he raps on (4 rtj, 2 solo, 1 company flow). Another 2 that he fully produced (Killer Mike RAP Music and The Cold Vein)
3. Mac Miller - Couple of standout albums but one of those was after he was dead and isn't really rap. Could be convinced to move him down. Donald Trump song is still pretty fun to throw on when pregaming.
4. Lil Ugly Mane - pretty good. I'll take my 3 6 homage where i can get it.
5. Paul Wall - no good projects to his name. But Sittin Sideways, Still Tippin, Drive Slow verse, Chunk Up the Deuce. Most importantly I still let this thing slap on the way to the bar with the boys:
6. Action Bronson - Great you sound like a specific 90s rapper with throwback beats but that 90s rapper was actually alive and still good in the 2010s so we didn't need you.

Something controversial about me is that I don't separate "best" and "favorite" for anything dealing with music. Ever. I think the whole world will eventually come around to it and wake the fuck up. I just hope I'm around to see it.
I hadn’t really thought of it, but I guess another part of this is how much you like the guy. My least favorite was Kid Rock because I just fucking hate him. So it’s a mixture of that and how well they can rap. Paul Wall isn’t a great rapper but I think he’d be kind of cool to hang out with. Same for Mac. I was never a big fan but he seemed like a cool guy.

Break Em Off and I'm Throwed w/ Dupri also great songs
I mostly agree with Jortles's points and rankings except I'm definitely listening to Paul Wall and LUM over Mac Miller in every scenario.
Weird to say Paul is "horrendous" and then note he's had verses on several absolute classics. Seems like something someone good would do.
On most of those songs I think hes just pretty happy to be there though. As I mentioned, I could be convinced to drop Mac down and not only one spot. Faces was a good mixtape with a lot of songs. I absolutely adore circles which is probably why i have him so high but again idk if that should even count since he only raps on like 3 songs and he was dead.
bunch of dudes with zero impact on music or culture
el p has been massively impactful in rap music. But to be fair, its Mainly from a production standpoint and as someone who created a label and helped break quite a few careers.

Just agree to disagree, I guess. I don't think he comes off phoned-in or happy to be there on any of those tracks. Like, his Drive Slow verse is soooooo good.
"The disco ball in my mouth insinuates I'm ballin'"

I mean, they’ve all had impact. There’s no no name rappers here. I don’t know anything about Ugly Mane but he must be someone.

Just because it’s about favorite or least favorite. Like I said early on, I can acknowledge Eminem is the best white rapper but El is definitely my favorite. There’s reasons there other than just rhyming.

El P rapping has no impact besides giving boomers another act to see at festivals.
